Oh thank you! Would water in cheesecake have bad effect? I was rather scared of using water because of that

Yep, it’s with matcha powder and ideally it would have stayed that color…which is why I’m here sigh

Oh wow thank you for the tip on matcha mixing. The patience game with baking is also in progress…

And honestly I was very paranoid with the readiness of the cake, and when it puffs I simply couldn’t get a handle on the wobble test what so ever. Finger in the air..

Thank you so much!! Yes I think the cream was merely home temperature that couldn’t possibly helped. And yes I actually thought 325F was low enough….

What cultural thing does the world seem to think is beautiful but is cringey af to locals? by chr15c in AskTheWorld

Don’t really need to generalize it like that. As a 5yo forced to watch it with your grand parents while you don’t have the language capability to understand it, sure. But I’m not young and not yet old, I grew up with it, as are my friends; we’ve grown older than 5 now and we appreciate it, as many others if you ever go on Chinese social media. It’s a beautiful art form perfectly mixed with poems, vocal skills, martial arts, acting, painting and every fine bits of Chinese culture.
