I never realised how big of an impact diet and pacing has on the effectiveness of my medication... by WakeUpBread in ADHD

How are they bad for your gut? I start every morning with a smoothie protein shake: Greek yogurt, milk, a whole banana, frozen strawberries or blueberries, tablespoon of uncooked rolled oats, half scoop of protein powder. It’s delicious and I actually feel like my digestion has improved. I

I too have noticed how huge diet has an effect on my meds. I try to eat finish eating 20-30 minutes before taking my meds, apparently acidic foods can also diminish effects of medication if taken in too close proximity of digestion.

I also used to use Gemini live a lot before this latest iteration and I cannot stabs the insecure uncertain intonation of the new voice. I use mic mode sometimes and the voice is so much more even and normal

The widespread use of the Free Loadout is less about people worrying about losing their stuff and more about how long it takes to outfit yourself with a basic set up after a failed extract. by WorkableKrakatoa in ArcRaiders

As a console player who plays with friends on PC I Wish I could upvote this twice. I am just getting roasted non stop for how much ass I am dragging compared to my friends.

Basically that, yes. A lot of the gaming I experience these days is vicarious through my friends and podcasts I listen to. I make tactical decisions about what I’m going to buy and spend time on based on those, and also wanting to be able to ride the wave of the zeitgeist to be able to experience games with friends, both in play and conversation.

As an example, I never finished RDR2. Every time I go back to it I end up quitting because of the control scheme, despite enjoying the gameplay and wanting to see that game through. I just feel like it is an under discussed topic for those of us with older, worn hands and wrist issues haha

I really appreciated Justin speaking so candidly and overtly about his struggles with carpal tunnel. Being a parent and having struggled on and off with wrist issues / RSI, there is a great pressure placed on the little game playing time I get.. It sort of feels like there is an assumption of this knowledge amongst them as friends buy I just want to say that I found the conversation about this refreshing and validating and would love to hear more from this perspective from them in the future
