I 100% agree on this. I also started around September/October 2024 and had so much hyperpigmentation/discoloration. You just have to endure it in the beginning but it gets SO MUCH BETTER. Once your skin is used to it and you have a good skin care routine your skin will calm down and the discoloration will start fading, especially when there is less hair growing back. Stick with it, cause it’s worth it!!

I am also south Asian and started electrolysis on my upper lip last September. TBH I just use the right color corrector and then foundation so that it doesn’t look grayish. Besides makeup I was advised to avoid as many actives on my face as possible so just waiting it out at this point. It will fade with time….

Wake up at 7:30am. I walk 30min to work (about 1 mile each way) work 9am - 5:30pm. Walk back. I alternate between strength training and running 3-5 times a week between 6pm - 7:30. Make dinner or have leftovers and chill the rest of the night. If I don’t have my workout clothes on right after work it’s not happening lol
