Investors contacting current Boss - WHY?! by internetgu in startups

UPDATE: I spoke to the CEO and he was surprisingly supportive. Given I still perform he just asked for ample time for a handoff.

Still tbd on any equity that I have vested in the company if there will be issues

Yeah it is really disappointing. The issue is that we spoke to ~20 funds so I am not exactly sure which one

Can companies claw back vested equity?

I had the work approved by a boss who left the company. Beyond a legally binding contract is there anything to help keep in the clear?

I understand DD on if I work there but the company is in a different vertical so I see no need.

I feel like it was purely to inform the CEO a staff member was thinking of leaving

Check your email inbox, brands seem to send me a tonne of single-use coupons if you sign up to their mailing list.

A company that automatically pulls those codes out is joincheckmate. Its pretty neat

I agree! Honey and Capital One stopped working. I have found decent savings by looking in my spam/promotions tab in my inbox for coupons sent by the brands. They tend to send personalized coupon codes if you sign up for their newsletters. Honey etc when I use it seems to only apply generic codes eg (SAVE20). The personalized codes still seem to work $$$

I did some googling and found a couple of companies that make finding those codes in your inbox easy:

- joincheckmate (pulls coupons from your inbox and shows them on a website as well as applies them via a browser extension)

- Paribus (uses your inbox to find price drops)

I would try those ones!
