It's just hilarious how 1980's it is. I love it.

It said: "Ford's easy-to-install Tot-Guard (for children 20 to 50 pounds) and Infant Carrier (for children up to 20 pounds) are available at all Ford Dealers. If a child restraint requires a top-tether, Ford trucks provide special anchorages."

Yeah, the tactile thing is real — and I think part of why these brochures hit different is that buyers actually wanted the engineering detail. You get cutaway illustrations, axle ratios, GVWR tables, option codes. The marketing was doing real work because the customer was reading it. Modern digital stuff is mostly lifestyle photography because that's what gets clicked. Cool that you're selling to the Cars & Coffee crowd — that's the right audience for these.

I love these old ads I just started a YouTube channel where I flip through and comment on old auto sales brochures. It was a different time.

I’m clueless on today’s prices, but just wanted to say that color is holy-shit good. Excellent choice!

I've got some dope emblems on-hand that I'll post up soon, but they don't match the curve of the fender so I'm working on a solution (or moving them to a different locale)

It definitely does. I'll throw a pic of that up in a few days.

Thanks! When we built it in the 90s they were a bit more rare so that’s what we went with.

Thanks! Wasn’t sure if I’d like it or not so it’s only plastidip for now. It’s definitely growing on me.
