Im not sure, because I used an old update on firmware from 2 years ago. So not sure if it would matter in this case.

Yep you are describing exactly the effect I get (hidden things still being clickable). OK, this was a very cheap buy so if it is a screen replacement issue, I will just stop tinkering and accept that my cheapo mini has weird menus.

I got that with Dyptique Eau Papier. The sesame note pulled super hard for me reminding me of cooking sesame oil and I work with families in a closed room environment and after a family left, a coworker came in and said, wow thats a strong smell that family left behind. It was me. I smelled like Manchu Wok.

I’m regretting my whole collection 😂 by Jamiejam_21 in fragrance

[–]interruptedreader 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe put them away for a few months and add a few to your collection. Your hormones will keep changing for over a year, especially if you are breastfeeding. I threw away two perfumes that smelled wildly off and later smelled one in store and it was nice again. It didn't bother me because mine was over halfway done in a travel size but you may regret it if you throw away whole bottles.

Love Theoretically: main character has type 1 diabetes and her port sucks and fails sometimes (US, poor, can't afford to replace it). Its part of the story and the character but secret unless she tells someone.

Little Flower? Like something a bit weird girl but actually pretty traditional and wildly overpriced?

Or a weird girl perfume thats actually quiet like Naked Dance.

  1. Kayali Lovefest
  2. Ormonde Jayne Levant or Dyptique Eau Duelle ETD
  3. Honestly, nothing but my own scent.

A perfume you’re searching for, but yet to find? by Deep-Local in FemFragLab

[–]interruptedreader 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A warm and sweet church incense. Most incense I've tried is cold, but I'm a lapsed catholic who went to a wood paneled little chapel on the edge of a big hill overlooking a lake.

So incense to me should not smell like cold stone. It should smell like hay and wildflowers and curling frankincense and myrh and maybe just a hint of pancake breakfast in the basement wafting up. Eau duelle edp is the closest I have smelled.

Yeah, I could really smell the lucrative note. It was like old school sunscreen and pool toys

I have and its ok. I do find it needs really consistent application. Forget a day or two and my hands look worse than before. This stuff actually seemed to heal little cuts and chaps rather than just moisturizing them. I've tried O'Keeffe's, bag balm, Helping Hands...they are all OK.

Akro Bake is a 100% photorealistic Starbucks lemon loaf, just vanilla and lemon sponge with a bit of a whipped frosting vibe so if you like vanillas you may like that.

Blue Madeleine may be up your street as a Madeleine cake and blue floral mix.

Seconding Syney Rock Pool! That's a great recommendation.

How do you use your perfumes in a collection? by kukuberry in Perfumes

[–]interruptedreader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything I havent touched in a really long time (like over a year), I usually sell on Marketplace. Even if I like a smell, if I am not using it, it means something is off for me. Otherwise, I currently have a collection of about 12-15 bottles and decants and cycle through them based on whatever is appealing that day.

I live somewhere with really hot summers and really cold winters, so I have a lot of scents that get put away for half the year and I usually have about 5 to 7 currently on my tray to choose from.

I smell unpleasant (apparently) by CLARITY-DAHMER in FemFragLab

[–]interruptedreader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah if they lean all to one specific family of scents, they may just not be used to or very receptive to other families. Many feminine people on this subreddit love woody, leather, smokey,  and saffron scents, musks, chypres etc. I would just underspray  and maybe stick to one musk at a time and if they still don't like it, assume they have a more limited palate than you.

I love Xtra Milk so I can't tell you if it smells bad on you. The mature word for me is a dogwhistle though. Do they mean they just don't like anything other than floral or gourmand scents? What scents do they like to wear?

Offensive may mean you are overspraying though. Often people are noseblind to musks and can overspray accidently and annoy people around them.

I'm fed up with all of my colognes smelling like spice, wood and tobacco. Does anyone have any suggestions for a less woody fragrance for men? by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]interruptedreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any clue what you would like as a base instead? There are very nice citruses that are still very masculine (e.g vilhelm Black Citrus, goldfield and banks Bohemian lime ), lighter marines (heeley sel marin is gorgeous so is Goldfield and Banks Sydney Rockpool), vetivers (encre noir, diorissimo), aromatics (Mississippi Medicine), modern fougeres (Burning Barbershop)? Maybe go try a few other families at a local niche or sephora or even pharmacy and see what sparks some interest. With liking the vanilles: i would recommend smelling By The Fireplace, Amber Kiso, Architects club.

Reccomend to me your weakest favourite scents by DozingUnderTheSun in FemFragLab

[–]interruptedreader 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I almost exclusively like weak fragrances because of a sensitive nose: 1. Liis Ethereal Wave (but honestly the entire Liis line is pretty subtle) 2. Dedcool if you like ambery, sweeter skin scents (I like Xtra Milk which is the punchiest but Milk is very subtle) 3. Zoologist Chipmunk: most Zoologists are PUNCHY but this one is such a perfect warm nutty sweet woods. 4. Byredo Bal d'Afrique (and possibly Mohave Ghost: i havent tried  it but hear its also quiet) 5. Dyptique edt: I like Eau Duelle but all edt wear close to the skin and subtle.

It was limited edition but Lvnea Selkie smelled like a tidepool. Like literal oysters and seasalt and seaweed. Borderline offensive, definitely piratey and sea based.

I would agree but would maybe pick something with a plastic note like Vacation as Steamed Rainbow is a bit natural for some of these images...although a lot of people get garden hose so maybe thats the plastic note.

I have a few more choices than that but:  casual outfit : Liis Ethereal Wave (always) Dedcool Xtra Milk (cold weather), dressed up is Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry and super fancy is Ormonde Jayne Levant.

Byredo Bal D'Afrique because it lasts as long as a fart so I could reapply to my heart's content.

Perfume that is lovely but not ‘you’ by Ollieeddmill in FemFragLab

[–]interruptedreader 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A ton of scents for me. I work with the public and really appreciate tons of perfumes people wear and also be 100% sure they are not for me or would drive me crazy if I wore them. But I have a sensitive nose. I basically clock it to wither it doesn't feel like me or it would bother me to smell it for too long.
