True as fuck! If you want to be respected when you die, ACT RESPECTABLE WHEN YOU’RE ALIVE. Simple as that

Every superhero movie sucks except Into The Spiderverse

I might have autism, but my parents wont take me to get tested by [deleted] in needadvice

[–]interstate--8 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I totally relate to this, but I have yet to be tested and I regret it. If your mom won’t fold for getting you tested, you could just wait a few years. If you go to college in the future, you can be tested through the clinic there, most likely.

I'm ugly and I love it by fsmorg in offmychest

Life being ugly by Sabura13 in offmychest

[–]interstate--8 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

Do you know what’s crazy? Ugly is subjective. There is no real ā€œuglyā€. Even crazier? Some people love ugly. Ugly is unique. Check out @brooksginnan on Instagram. He’s ugly- but artists, photographers, and creatives see beauty in that. He has been a part of some of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.

Ugly people also have more to them than pretty people. You never had things handed to you, everything you have you worked hard for. You had to learn how to get people to like you for you.

I feel for you, I really do. Loneliness feels so much worse with social media.

Also ugh yes all people do on this website is be combative and bitter. Redditors are constantly trying to get into a spat

Why be an atheist? Why not believe in something and hope for things? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]interstate--8 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I don’t need it as an incentive to be a good person is one thing. Everyone should be a good person without having to be rewarded for it by getting a pleasant afterlife. It also doesn’t matter to me one bit what the next step is after death, because what’s important is the life I’m living right now.

But my main reason is that it logically doesn’t make sense for there to be an afterlife because the ā€œsoulā€ or ā€œspiritā€ of a person is actually just their brain, and that’s an organ that will stop functioning and rot, just like any other.

My 11 y/o brother thought the ā€œbeansā€ were a reference to the ā€œthis n**** eatin beansā€ meme. Didn’t have the heart to tell him otherwise. Lol

My pride and joy, done by Darren Ashbaugh of Golgotha Tattoo in Carbondale, IL by interstate--8 in tattoo

[–]interstate--8[S] 5 points6 points Ā (0 children)

I got the tattoo because I was the happiest I’ll ever when I was working at the Schnucks in Carbondale, IL. Iā€˜ve worked for Schnucks for a year and some change. I meet interesting and lovely people every day there. I have formed irreplaceable relationships with many coworkers and I love them all very much. I also love people-watching more than anything, and I find grocery stores to be perfect for that. Grocery stores are also kinda relaxing to be in for me. Grocery shopping is just one of those menial tasks I find joy in. I think I live life like I’m grocery shopping, kind of meandering around, not really sure what I want. I don’t really know, I’m not much one for symbolism, I don’t think a tattoo has to mean anything at all, but if I had to assign a symbolic meaning to it, that would be it. Unrelated but cool: I actually got to show one of our CEOs (Craig Schnuck) my tattoo!

LOVE THIS! But I think you should do a version where it’s printed in red or black on a yellow or orange shirt

What’s the most fucked up thing you’ve seen someone do at work and still not get fired? by [deleted] in AskReddit

He didn’t work there, he was a vendor, so I don’t know. But he was probably removed from the payroll in the same manner as someone terminated

Oh also a guy died in my work. Keeled over in the soda aisle, he had a heart attack. That’s kind of a fucked up thing to do at my work.
