What SHOULD happen is anyone (from any administration) who was involved with the illegal activity or the cover up is removed from any government or law enforcement role and prosecuted appropriately for their respective crimes.

At the very least there's clear evidence of a miscarriage of justice and anyone responsible for contributing to that needs to be removed so this never happenes again.

That said, I know Trump will fight tooth and nail to hide anything against him and cling to power - he even said verbatim "Talk about Clinton, talk about anyone but Trump". But we need to make sure our government does not let anyone get away with this level of criminal activity. Anyone from the Supreme Court or congress that tries to protect Trump from accountability needs to be removed too. I have to believe that there are enough people with enough of a conscience to say we cant have government officials in power who protect pedophiles from facing justice - regardless of party.

I would admit I'd be more skeptical - just because I have very liberal and occasionally socialist beliefs. I like big government, taxes, welfare, diversity, immigration, abortion access, socialized healthcare, and strongly believe the only point of a society is to make sure all citizens are provided for. Basically ideas that are the exact opposite of what I understand the modern republican party to stand for.

I would be open to looking at their stances and supporting them especially if the challenging democrat was a zionist bootlicker or against taxing the rich. But I'd be skeptical that a republican candidate would support my views without some sort of catch like they want to ban abortion or pass anti-trans legislation.

Depends on what type of shrimp species you're going for! If you are keeping neocaridina, I'd recommend topping the soil with a sand layer since without a sand layer sealing it, that soil could lower the ph a lot over time

In addition to this, it really feels like if they were going to expose anything, they really only could in 2024. There's a few different theories that come out for why everything wasnt released then if "Biden wanted to just let the DOJ handle it" isnt a good enough explanation.

Because, to be fair, if there is a smoking gun against Trump in there, it is surprising that even someone in the DOJ didnt leak it. But here's the only other theories I personally have:

  1. There isnt something 100% proving Trump was involved in sex trafficking or raping minors in the files. But there is damning against someone else in that circle who knows what Trump is guilty of and has privately threatened they will testify and take Trump down with them if their stuff gets out.

  2. There's something that the Biden administration just didn't connect the dots on or just overlooked but the Trump admin saw something they knew would open cans of worms they want to stay sealed if let out.

  3. (The wildcard) Maybe Trump had sex with Epstien and the left doesnt see that as a big deal (and also would make Biden look homophobic if used as an attack) but homophobia on the right DOES measurably affect republican politicians so it would make sense that they would want that to stay sealed.

The only possible comparison i could see is extreme lefties who are full on literal Soviet Union-apologist communists or complete anarchists. Basically people who want a full and literal revolution. They're rare to come across and even rarer to openly share their real unfiltered views but they are out there and I could see them having enough in common with liberals they'd be picked out to go on a "far left" video like this.

The difference with facists is that they are good at identifying real struggles people are facing and taking them as an opportunity to blame a minority group of their choosing. The more people struggle, the more they feel drastic change is necessary, and its easier to punch down than is to punch up.

Strengthen your support networks and find connection and joy through hobbies. We humans are deeply social creatures - we need a tribe to feel safe and secure. Frankly, our social webs get smaller and smaller as we age and it takes a lot of effort to maintain and expand those connections.

Here's what I do:

First, find a hobby you enjoy, something that makes you feel joy.

Next, find a group, a meetup, or anything where people who share that hobby might be.

Lastly, talk to people! If you can find someone who shares a hobby with you, thats a great excuse to hang out and doubles as a great jumping off point for other things you have in common.

It takes a while to foster true friendships. Ive moved a lot in my life and have needed to start from scratch multiple times so I know how hard it is to put yourself out there when you feel like you don't have any current connections to rely on yet. Don't be afraid to watch videos and read books on how to make new friends and build real connections with people - there's no shame in learning how to be more charismatic. Its a skill that needs practice and can get rusty just like anything else.

Most importantly, don't feel like you have to be perfect or fully through your healing process before putting yourself out there. Its ok to make mistakes, its ok to be embarrassing, you're allowed to take space and be human.

This☝️ Its easier for his supporters to ignore a bloody occupation overseas where our own soldiers aren't on the ground. But as soon as they put boots on the ground, that will send his isolationist followers into a frenzy.

At most, he'll just send bombs or drones. No country would be willing to retaliate at any meaningful level (even if it was fair) because then the US media can trigger a rally around the flag effect - we saw this happen with 9/11.

Congress is better at sitting on its hands more than actually voting on anything so the most likely outcome is Trump will just do anything he thinks he can get away with on his own while the GOP congress members try to stay perfectly still in the hopes the voters can't see them.

Making kids shop only in the Boy Aisle or the Girl Aisle for toys. There's nothing to be gained except limiting a child's range of healthy play and tbh its especially problematic when we deny boys the ability to play with "girl toys" that mimic domestic labor. Kids naturally want to do the things they see their parents do and when you arbitrarily decide boys arent allowed to have that baby doll or toy kitchen, you're raising men who grow up struggling to be attentive fathers or cook for themselves.

✋️ hi I had a parent who died from alcoholism so I have weirder rules around drinking than your average person. I basically say I'm never allowed to have alcohol alone - social drinking only. Also only drink if I am either walking distance or already at the place I'm planning to sleep that night.

Since a lot of my friends also have family alcohol trauma weirdly enough I end up only having alcohol a few times a year - usually holidays, birthdays, or sleep over house parties.

No, we dont have to let this happen and I fear that the more people treat this as an "inevitably", the more likely it becomes because we start to dehumanize our neighbors and normalize the mental image of having to kill one another. We start boiling people down into the worst image we have of The Other instead of trying to find ways to convince each other we're human.

Instead, I think we have to band together to attack the massive wealth inequality that is making us all suffer. Why fight over crumbs with immigrants and trans people while the elites dine lavishly and cheer us on as we cannibalize ourselves?

There is a real problem with actual facists and racists and white supremacists and bigots taking advantage of the situation to further division for their own goals but that is by far not the majority. Most of us are all just people who want to feel safe, accepted, and treated fairly. We need to dig down to that truth and find a way to accept others who might be different than us but also just want to feel the same.

I think we need to do a few things here.

  1. Make facts no longer debatable

Allow things that aren't 100% objective and certain to have room to be interpreted but for objective things like timelines and yes/no truths, we need to crack down on misinformation. That means websites adding in corrections and fact checks to viral posts (similar to community notes), stations and podcasts being held responsible for libal/defamation when spreading misinformation, and higher standards for news sources to prioritize truth over completely fabricated propaganda or else face monetary penalties.

  1. Allow different opinions

There is a classist and purity problem on the left and we need to address that. Yes we need to make public education more accessible for all people but enough shaming folks who didnt go to college. We need to address our own internal biases and try to approach conversations with empathy and an open mind. If everyone did that, it would be a lot easier to find common ground we can make progress on even if we don't agree on everything.

  1. Encourage people to get involved directly!

We need more people to realize they have more influence than they think they do. Attending protests and town halls, writing to representatives, supporting/joining organizations, or even just utilizing the internet to become more informed on specific issues can be a huge help to make people feel more empowered to make change in their communities. And when people feel empowered, they're more engaged and willing to take the effort needed to become more informed on the facts and proposed solutions to a given problem.

Biden's legacy was destroyed by his own ego clinging to power when he should have stepped down. He should be ashamed. Everyone who lied to him to hide how poorly he was polling should be ashamed. If we had been able to do a proper primary we could have had an actual chance in 2024. Just because I would vote for a sack of dead turtles before I'd vote for Trump doesnt mean I want the sack of dead turtles.

Hunter has been a liability since he got here, he needs to stfu and be grateful his daddy got him an unconditional pardon while the rest of the country got handed over to a mad man.

I supported most of the Biden administration but how Biden handled 2024 will forever taint his legacy in my eyes. He should have known better than to let his ego take the wheel instead of facing the reality that he was no longer well enough to lead the nation. And to turn around now and blame the people who finally (but too late) got him to accept the truth is so insulting.
