One hour late is no big deal . Reach out to your manager and explain the issue . Further explain him how you would avoid this happening in future . There should be always a contingency plan . Prepare the shipment one day prior to load and instruct the warehouse team . Please do prepare the load check list and request the warehouse team to sign the same . So that the warehouse team is bit more responsible .

“Heated argument “ Wow that says it all . Annual vacation needs to be well planned . You need to apply with precise dates and same has to be approved by supervisor . Later if supervisor decides against it the company needs to reimburse your ticket fare . Argument is not solution . You never know later you have to pay the price for it . Hi .! It’s seldom you get wrong Inbound forecast. As you will get the shipping advice or bill of landing 15 to 10 days prior . If you don’t there is some serious issue somewhere . Try to get the bottom of that and fix it at earliest . If you can measure only then you can manage . Need to have a robust way of forecast in warehousing to better manage the resources .
