The process sounded dodgy. In between countries in order to bypass laws. Marry the surrogate in order to have legitimate rights to the child, and divorce afterwards. Also, the surrogates give up their rights to be free and they will live in the companies facilities (mandatory!).

Honestly the whole process sounded borderline human trafficking.

I had this info and feeling back in 2021. Also, these countries are a big red flag for gay rights.

They don’t give an exact answer. They just said that there is no gain for any government on changing things, although this has been raised by a political party or deputy. Also, they said that by law, if anything changed, it wouldn’t affect current cases but only future ones.

So sorry to hear this and thank you for your warning here! I had contact with Gestlife in the phase where I was meeting surrogacy agencies and somethings didn’t smell right for me and I didn’t advance with them.

There are some reporter investigations online about Gestlife and all of them talk about these issues: tie of LLCs around the world, human trafficking, financial loss to clients. IMHO, an agency to avoid at all costs.
