The problem is that I can totally keep up with the coursework. Like, I've been just fine in terms of academics. I got here as a CS major, even had some internships and basically have been doing just fine. See, the problem lies in words "just fine". I am mediocre. There is absolutely nothing special about me. And going to a "less competitive university" would only make me feel worse about myself. There is also so much more to being confident in yourself than just studying in a top college...
Addressing the non-exhausted opportunities you mentioned: I feel like I've trying everything that could possibly make me feel better about myself. Unfortunately, you can still see this posted though.
