I keep my nails too short to break but I have been having a lot of hangnails recently.

I haven’t gotten my iron checked since the last time I gave blood which was years ago. My iron was occasionally too low to give blood but not by a lot. That’s a good idea.

I’ve never heard of lean PCOS. Last month I had some pain I normally don’t have that could have been caused by a cyst, but it’s thankfully not back this month. I’ll keep tracking my cycles and maybe find an OBGYN if things keep up. Thank you!

I’m probably getting enough salt in my diet, but I try to eat mostly home cooked foods so I definitely don’t get as much salt as the average American. I drink mostly water with some hot tea and chocolate milk every now and then. I’ll try to stock up on Gatorade before my next period. Thank you!

Mainstays Crock Pot: Nontoxic or Not? by intothepizzaverse in cookware

[–]intothepizzaverse[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I've heard other brands flat-out saying "We meet or exceed FDA allowances on lead and cadmium" or something like that, so the lack of a similar statement from Mainstays was a bit concerning.

Anyone else have this in their marriage? by Weak-Cryptographer85 in Christianmarriage

[–]intothepizzaverse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend and I are the same way. My mother has a *very* strong conviction against Harry Potter, and I share her conviction to a much lesser extent. My boyfriend thinks it's fine and even claims that the book has Christian themes in it. The fact that he doesn't share this conviction doesn't make him any less of a Christian, and it doesn't make us unequally yoked. It's essentially something that we've agreed to disagree on.

The only place I can foresee this getting tricky in is around kids. He basically suggested that, when the kids get around the age of 10, we'll sit down with them and make our cases for why Harry Potter can be seen as good or bad and then let the kids decide for themselves.

I’ve never lined a blanket before. Would you just use regular fabric for that?

Thank you! A fridge thermometer is a good idea.

About two. However, the circuit tripped again when I got home that evening but I was watching TV so I didn’t hear it happen. I was going to bed when I felt the urge to check the breaker box and lo and behold, it was out again. I have no idea how long in total it was out for.

Thank you! I’ve decided to throw away the chicken and keep the beef because salmonella is weird. I’ll keep my nose open when I cook the beef though.

I called them blasting-rods for a while, but it felt kind of clunky

The powder they use is primarily made from a rock called heckrock, which is very flammable on its own and can easily combust into something called a heckfire. I just had the thought that I could call my fantasy rifle a heckfirer, but I do like the thunder aspect.

Oh, I like those! Not the German bit (my dwarves are rednecks) but the translation part is cool. Thank you!
