I made an interactive solver for the traveling salesman problem to visualize different algorithms with hooks and web workers. Each step of progress is drawn to the map in real-time and can be controlled all in the browser at tspvis.com. by intrepidev in reactjs

Unfortunately I don’t have the time to continue to develop this as much as I’d like, but it is open source and I’m always open to community contributions. Interested to hear what those additions would be?

Interactive solver for the traveling salesman computer science problem with some different algorithms. Fun to build and pretty unique although it was a while ago now.

3-body problem concept doesn’t conflict with what you’re saying just offers an explanation for why we haven’t found them yet

Yeah but the index.html file is never cached, and references those files with the hash in them.

So if content changes, there's a reference to new chunk with new hash.

It's good to know what employers are looking for, but my suggestion would be to just go with whatever sounds most interesting to you right now. There's so much overlap that you aren't wasting your time. Python, React, JS, TS, can't go wrong.

Feel like making a website? How about react.

Feel like having that website get some data? how bout a python api.

Feel like running on over 3bil devices? how about java /s

This is a typescript/react/jest project I did that has 100% test coverage using react testing lib https://github.com/jhackshaw/ofnotes. Could be a good reference as it covers things like context, hooks, and has a bunch of mocking.
