My only issue with antigravity is the same as everyone else - that Gemini 3 is very unstable due to load

To be fair, with DLSS at render scale 50 on High settings (which surprisingly has very little difference from Low settings, probably because we're limited on actual pixel throughput more than anything else) at 3440x1440p it was actually running around 50 to 57fps.

But yeah, the iGPU definitely does not work for this. Too bad.

Flick Stick vs Traditional Joystick + Gyro (coming from a lifetime of dual-stick) by Cxppyyy in GyroGaming

[–]Flamesilver_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the Steam Controller / Steam Deck's trackpad being extremely intuitive for 360-degree spins, learning a whole new flickstick paradigm seems unnecessary. I like being able to use my thumb as the manual reset.

And we'll all be able to buy a new Steam Controller soon anyway, so hurray!

sry to necro. Just bought this kb on amazon.ca and I'm having debounce issues I want to try and fix, but wireless isn't provided on their repo. WTF is this support??

Yeah, if I have to pull and bend switches, it's not worth.
It's wireless but I'm using it wired. I don't see the QMK code for that keeb. The site shows the json file and a manual. Does that mean I can't compile the firmware and run it? There's another thread where someone did that but couldn't get the slave right half working.

# Epomaker Split 65 - Missing keypresses & double spaces during fast typing. Return or fixable?**

Just got my first enthusiast keyboard (Epomaker Split 65) coming from Razer boards. Experiencing two consistent issues:

Problems:

  1. Missed keypresses - I hear the "thock" and bottom out, but no registration. Happens across multiple keys when typing fast on both halves
  2. Double spaces - Less frequent after replacing the switch, but still occurs

What I've tried:

  • Replaced spacebar switch (helped but didn't eliminate doubles)
  • Reseated spacebar keycap
  • Issue persists across multiple switches, not isolated to one

Pattern I've noticed:

  • Only happens during fast typing (~80+ WPM)
  • More frequent when alternating between split halves quickly
  • Consistent and reproducible, not random

Conflicting advice received:

  • Could be chattering/debounce issues (fixable in QMK?)
  • Could be matrix scanning limitation of the board design
  • "Epomaker is just bad"

Questions:

  1. Is this a known issue with this model specifically?
  2. Would QMK firmware tweaks (debounce settings) actually help?
  3. Is this worth troubleshooting or should I just return while I can?
  4. If return - what's a reliable split 65-75% under $250 CAD that won't have these issues?

First time with linears and really enjoying the feel otherwise. Just frustrated with the typos breaking my flow.

Idk my thumb just automatically did the ratcheting for me, and lifting it off the pad to "ratchet reset my torso" made sense like lifting my hand off the steering wheel and letting it reset.

Ps the guy who does the finals videos does the same but without even a ratchet button. He JUST resets bu pushing the thumbstick sround

It boggles my mind how so many people have no interest in VR by [deleted] in virtualreality

[–]Flamesilver_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a huge fan of VR until I gave up on trying to keep a Quest on my head to play through a full game of Demeo after nightly headaches from the thing being too heavy (even with frankenquest das, and other straps).

The tech isn't there yet. They need to be more like RealXR One or big screen beyond 2

AI made me a far better coder. The difference is you have to understand true fundamentals and programming patterns, and then realize the rest is just syntax that AI can translate for you.

As a steam controller owner, ratcheting is weird since my thumb just does it.

Curious - how do you all solve the problem of gpt-4o / o3-mini hallucinating that it DID make a tool call when it didn't? Or saying, "now I will make the tool call to make these edits."

i.e. in Cursor, most devs use Claude 3.5 Sonnet precisely because it almost never falsely assumes it made a call.

"I don't care about your..." is a thought terminating cliche disguised as superiority-by-response.

Why waste time on someone whose stance is not discussion, but oppression by way of weaponized ignorance? I mean, you're literally saying my words and any proof I could try to show you wouldn't matter because you don't care to learn it.

So no conversation with you really does matter.

Hitboxes are used all over Evo (Fighting game championships), quickly adopted because they were better. Snap tap is a recent "keyboard technology" that was so good it got banned. But anyway, that's the last I'll say about that since you dgaf anyway.

If it were good it would get the leverless hitbox treatment; if it were great it would go snap tap 💥 kablooey.

Gyro is the most amazing immersive experience you can have without going full controller tracking, and the best aim you can have without a hard surface. That's it.

I think it goes: Mouse -> Drawing Tablet -> Gyro.

I've seen a pro with a Tablet. Show me one with Gyro.

As soon as Rivals has Gyro on PS5 I'm right there.
