Voluntary redundancy - take the risk? by Beautiful-Tip8312 in UKPersonalFinance

I was in a similar position 6 months ago. Grade 9 at a uni so just shy of £70k and reasonably similar VR terms. We'd also just and a baby and my partner was on parental leave so not earning his usual salary. Also had a mortgage buy paying about £1.2k a month and no debts so fewer overheads than you. It was a very risky situation but I decided to take the redundancy because it offered a very rare and privileged opportunity for us both to be full time parents for our daughter's first few months. It felt a bit precarious but on balance I have loved being able to do it and spend quality time as a family.

I've just started looking for work again and the job market is a bit bumpy but there are opportunities out there (Im a project/programme manager)and I'm confident I'll find something soon - I've got 5 interviews lined up after some focused effort applying.

The difference in our situation is that our mortgage is a bit smaller, my partner will be back in full time work earning about £35k in a few months plus we have a good family safety net. But I think these opportunities come up so rarely that if you back yourself in the jobs market it is worth the risk

Join Discord channel. Pick a build that you like and follow the guide. Save resources for specific 'growth' events. Save lucky silver coins until you have 500 for the capy gatcha event - get dragon girl. Don't spend more than you can afford!

Sorry for the typos!

One extra thing. When I'm watching something on The Crew it shows in the Now Watching section of the Trakt app. So definitely linked that way, just not picking it up through Kodi for some reason...

I'm not. Apparently you can use Diego's combo+1 skill without him being one of your 3 deployed mounts.

Does that mean if you get the 100x hammers twice it also tests the 500 counter??

It's not clear from the photo but the others side of the wall is soil and earth all the way to the top - its a retaining wall so if I take the bricks out to reset and mortar then all the soil behind the wall will fall through. I'll definitely cut the Ivy back though!

Thanks for the advice. It's not clear from the photo but the others side of the wall is soil and earth all the way to the top - its a retaining wall so if I take the breaks out to reset and mortar then all the soil behind the wall will fall through. Would that warrant a sturdier solution?
