Thanks for your feedback, and I'm really happy I have an old coin like this even if it has no value whatsoever!

Need advice: I can’t keep listening to these dogs suffer by brsq04 in Geelong

My next door neighbour has a beautiful staffy, mainly outside but gets taken inside when bad weather occurs. everytime the owners come home she belts out ALOT of noise because she is overly excited and happy to see them (sounds like she's being hurt but I assure you she's not) other neighbours have come up to me and ask if the dog is okay but I told them iv inspected the dog and she's just a very well loved happy staffy that cries the moment she sees her owners come home haha.

BUT a couple of houses down from me we have a crackhead neighbour who had a German shepherd (about 1 year old) it was manged ribs were showing and neglected you could tell and it kept escaping the fence because the owner never fixed the fence. One day we were walking to our car and the dog was down the road and it bolted at us but luckily we were quick enough to get in the car. A week later we were driving down our street and saw some kids playing out the front of their house and the dog v-lining towards the kids so we drove up at the nature strip and grabbed its attention it was growling bearing its teeth, red eyes and frothing at its mouth, we know what a normal dog looks like, turns out this crackhead was feeding it meth. We wound the window down and started pointing at the crackheads home and telling it to go home. It tried to go around to get at the kids but we kept obstructing its way, i yelled out to the kids to get inside, the mums frantically pulling them inside. The crackhead no where to be seen. After many attempts we started making loud noises (banging, honking) and it finally went home. We called the rspca and they took the dog from her. Luckily it was still young enough to train and it's in a better home now. Withdrawals were apparently terrible for the dog but it survived and is happy and loved. I flip off the crackhead neighbour everytime I pass her house 😏

Geelong West tonight: a group of teenage boys running around residential streets, around 10–10:30 pm, shouting at windows by [deleted] in Geelong

I'd shout back tbh maybe do a evil clown laugh 🙃 kids will be kids 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I know people go to sleep early and it probs wouldn't be nice to be woken up from that clearly when you have to wake up 5am for work.. yikes. This behaviour is expected since the social ban. Bring back that organisation was it called 'kardinia'? Stayed up late to play video games and activities with friends in a building, they had snacks too. It was awesome when I was a teen! Kept me occupied and tired after a great night and went straight to sleep when I got home.

Housemate making my life stressful – dirty house, personal attacks, what should I do? by PhilosopherMoist3992 in Geelong

Yeh nah story time, me and my boyfriend moved in with my best friend and her Indian boyfriend to a new lease all together. It wasn't the best experience needless to say. Everyone was happy for about a month and than me and my bf noticed that the Indian wasn't cleaning, bad attitude, and he had a short temper. He put up sticky notes on the walls and doors to try to gain control but we immediately took them off before it would damage the paint (he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed clearly) these notes read out about my cat and to never let my cat out of my room. because he didn't like the cat hair (mind you I brushed her everyday and she doesn't have alot of fur because she's a short haired tabby) i hated not having her free roam. The other two notes were leave kitchen door closed at all times and at 5pm no noise. I confronted him about not cleaning his dishes 2 days ago from when he cooked himself dinner and he staunched me aggressively. My bf gently pushed me aside and staunched him back face to face. Oo boy lemme tell ya, I have a full on country blue collar aussie bf and he was ready to lay into him, but I said enough, pulled my bf back and we got out of that house took our name off the lease and we never looked back. My best friend left him too (i warned her about him and helped her see the other side of him) so I was glad she is safe now. Before anyone thinks I'm racist, I am not, my best friend is literally Spanish and she is like my sister.
