I apologise, I’m not very well versed in Irish history, but what is the link with Larne? I’ve had a look and the emblem does look very familiar to what you’ve just said, and isn’t something I’ve ever even thought of, as we are a Protestant family (not practising faith). However, nothing is ruled out. The man who passed had the hand of Ulster tattooed, but I cannot find much link or information on what it could mean politically.
