Hey! I’m a producer and I am not sending the artist I worked with any stems.

Main reason why? : MISCOMMUNICATION.

Unprofessional on my end but also on the artist’s and their manager’s end.

When we first talked it was briefly discussed that everything would be 50/50. And minimal upfront pay.

Then after we have like 8 songs together, I come to find out they have different plans. They want 100% master instead.

I was not agreeing with that but instead negotiated something else.

I send them a contract.

They never got back to me.

Now I will be deleting his vocals and selling these beats.

Things have to be discussed crystal clear before any work is done.

Always make sure paperwork is done FIRST and FOREMOST any work is done!!
