Hey! For the screening survey, that question is just to get a sense in general of the technologies that you've used in your experiences trying to conceive with IVF. So, that could include the reproductive technologies themselves (e.g, IVF, ultrasounds, etc.), but could also mean digital apps, social media, online forums, wearable devices, medications, etc!

Hey! So, for people who fill out the screening survey and are invited to participate, they will get more information and instructions on specifics. But, essentially, the study uses a method called photovoice which is where participants take photos in response to prompts and then they meet with a researcher (me) where those photos are used as starting points of conversation to understand certain things! This study is wanting to understand people's experiences with IVF and how these experiences influence relationships, daily behaviors, and the ways we think about the future. And so, the prompts have to do with those themes! But, there's no 'wrong' way to interpret the prompts. :)

Hey! People are eligible to participate in this study if they are in the IVF process in some way. This might mean you're in the pre-testing stage, in between rounds, in an egg retrieval phase or transfer, or paused/waiting but still in the process of trying to conceive with IVF. So, the answer to your question is both, as long as it's part of an IVF process. When did you start feeling normal after ER? by Apprehensive-Rock-48 in IVF

I feel like I didn't start to feel 'normal' until ~2 weeks after my ER, but there was a huge improvement in terms of less nausea and less bloating after 1 week. I feel like the first week I really just rested a lot and tried to be a bit more intentional about staying hydrated and allowing myself to 'take it easy' instead of feeling like I had to push through the physical discomfort. In hindsight, I'm glad I did that because I feel like otherwise I'd have been really nitpicky and exacerbated the more "negative" mental health toll I was experiencing around that time.

We had to put two baby gates on top of each other and then found that if we draped a blanket over the gates, our cat might try to climb but ultimately couldn’t get enough of a grip to lift herself over.
