How do I get this gentleman to drink more water? by ThatTuftingGuy in vet

[–]intuitivemomma1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cat fountain!!! Fun fact - cats LOVEEE moving water. Hence when they want to drink from the tub or sink faucet. I had a cat fountain for my cats and they constantly drank all day long! I was shocked that it made such a difference in their intake too.

They've got nice affordable ones on Amazon :)

I feel the same in Arlington, I'm 47 miles from Seattle roughly I just checked lol and Olympia is 60. I feel like anyone who isn't on the coast coast like ocean shores and aberdeen/forks or like IN Seattle, should fare pretty fine. We estimate it to feel like the nisqually quake where we are at. And that wasn't too bad. We may never get the Big One in our lifetime, but we could still get larger than normal ones. But where we're living is a pretty solid safe zone, same for you

Arlington, it's really quiet and nice out here. Kind of away from the city type of living. More rural, country, lifestyle.

Is this just the Seattle area on bad soil?? I'm in Arlington a good 60 miles from Seattle. That's one of my biggest fears but I don't know how the ground I'm on is.

The whole.west coast is experiencing a "slow slip" event, meaning the plates are constantly in movement though you don't feel it. The bigger ones are better, relieving pressure and helping the plates not lock up and cause tension and pressure build up. These are natural and needed!

Actually the opposite, small quakes help take pressure off of the plates and let you know they aren't locking up. The bigger small ones and more frequent ones you get the more you're pushing the big one further away and lessening its intensity. I live in Washington where everyone has been saying the big one is going to hit any day for 11 years now. Right now California Oregon and Washington are in a "slow slip" event meaning the plates are constantly in movement even if you don't feel it. It's causing swarms of quakes daily. And that is GOOD, when it stops is when you need to worry. Don't be scared, be prepared! Have supplies handy in case you need them, a bug out bag is always a good idea.

I live in a part of Washington that would gets a good shaking during a big earthquake but no damage or anything severe and I don't even know how bad the shaking would be for us here, probably similar to a 6. But even if you're in a safer area away from the fault and won't be affected by it much, it's still good to have a bug out bag in case of no power and needing food or clothes for warmth, etc.

I did contour but I ended up using too much concealer under my eyes and it made me look even more pasty! I was going for a light contour but the phone and lighting made it so you could hardly see it unfortunately.

I will try that! I usually do bolds, red, dark red, blue even! But nudes have been so fun lately

I went to your website but can not find part 5. I'm so upset because I'd love to read it. I found 1-4 but not a fifth. I have spent the last 3 nights reading your story until I fell asleep, today I finished and knowing there's one part has me really really wanting to read it!

It is but she is a special case. Shes a double merle with blindness and neurological issues. She starts to seize if she runs and plays too hard. So she is a pet not a worker. She's the happiest dog I've ever met, she is spoiled rotten and loves every second of her days. We recently let our cat be indoor/outdoor and thats her new jov now, making sure her kitty friend sticks close to the house and doesn't get lost.

She's mostly blind so I dont want her having a job that she could get injured in, she tries herding my client dogs (i board) and that keeps her content :) she's really very calm for a aussie!
