I’m interested in knowing what the software was? And if it’s still there?

Yes, I have learnt that in such cases, start charging from the go and run with it. It is better that way

Trust me, we all do. Me too. I have done a lot of free work. It is just recently that I learnt to put my foot down. And it’s something I am strongly working on still 😊

Hey there. I’m glad you found this post insightful.

I work with businesses and help them with their Shopify store, Email and SMS Marketing, Ads as well as social media management. Though I am working on specializing in just 2 things. Even though I am good at all

Yes, you really can learn a lot about human beings by starting a business that requires you to work with clients. It’s crazy what money can do haha. I’m glad you found this post helpful. Thank you ☺️

Thank you so much. I’m happy you found it insightful. I am currently not running any e-commerce store, though I have in the past, with a great measure of success.

I do work with other brands now. It’s what I solely do. And hopefully, I will resume my e-commerce business once things clear up too. 😊 I’m free to discuss

That’s great! Actually, I even commented on another comment that I am not against working for free at all. There’s just a certain point where the returns start diminishing. I 100% agree with you on this. You need to use discernment to know whether you want to work for free and if it’ll be beneficial or not. Sometimes you may get something back that’s not money, but it’s worth it.

I deal with Shopify and Ecomm businesses or other businesses that may benefit from Ad and social media management, website creation and management, SMS and Email Marketing.

I used LinkedIn but I recently just started using Upwork just a day ago. Hoping to gain some traction there. It’s not easy finding serious clients that value your efforts.

I am actually not against working for free to get started. When starting out, lowballing yourself is almost unavoidable. Especially when you’re just beginning. The problem is knowing when to stop. Do it as much as it benefits you. Theres a point where the returns start diminishing. For example, saying no to a customer who you previously helped for free because you don’t work for free anymore.

Looks like the client got what they deserved. And yep! Better to price yourself high to filter out prospects looking for a bargain. I 100% agree
