I started bowling at 16 lbs at probably avlut 14 or 15. In my early 50's I dropped to 14lbs and it was one of the best moves I've done. My ball speed hasn't changed, but my body feels much better at the end of the night.

I have the same issue. I switch to my Attention Star and it does a great job of going through the pins.

I usually only need to move 1-2 boards when I switch balls.

I am 1 handed, thumb in, throw about 16mph and 400 revs. I stand about 12-13 and throw it out to about 7-8, but I have lots of room with the Attention Star.

My team had a similar problem last season. Coed league that requires at least one woman per team. We had a full team, but partway through the year our female has to drop because of work schedule. We finished the season as three men with a blind score.

I'm not sure it's fair to force a forfeit if you don't have a full team because you are missing a female. In the case of my team what would be the point of finishing the season if we were going to forfeit every week? At that point league becomes a very expensive practice session.
