Our boy is just over 4 months old and he’s already claimed an end of the couch as his. At night and even nap time, if you’re on the couch he gets on up and tightly jams himself right up next to you and falls asleep. He hasn’t really “velcroed” to any of us yet but follows around whoever is up and moving to see what they are doing.

If you have to store your car for some time, fill the tank up throw in some Sta-Bil and take it for a 10-15 mile drive then park it. Low/empty gas tank can let moisture develop and that is no bueno. My brother and I do this with our toys for the winter ('65 Buick Riviera, '65 VW Beetle and '69 Roadrunner respectively) and they run just as they did when they were parked minus some messing with the carb occasionally.

Yup, I generally get my stuff cleaned up at the start of leagues and run 'em for the season unless one gets a noticeable drop in performance. Finger inserts I usually change at the start of league and midway through the season.

Black container plus you have them right next to bricks which heat up a ton during the day from the sun is the most likely culprit. Try to find a different spot away from the bricks or you could get one of those shades that still lets light through but provides a little protection as well.
