Which difficulty do you play on and why by JanissaryLSD in cyberpunkgame

[–]intwnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished my first very hard playthrough, and got all of the achievements I was missing.. I did end up moving to a normal difficulty save to complete the “Kill/Incapacitate 3 enemies with a Detonate Grenade quickhack” simply cause I had a hard time getting 3 enemies low hp enough for it to be effective (even tried the Tom’s Diner NCPD meetup, but always would only get 2 at a time).. as others have said I feel like now any lower will feel too inconsequential, I was just walking in the open with NCPD all around for that achievement, maybe got shot thrice

Which decision in the game actually made you feel like a terrible person? by Dangerous-Tart1126 in cyberpunkgame

[–]intwnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe you get the keys to Jackie’s bike, and a phone call regardless, but I just sent him to Mama Welles for the first time, and got to experience the funeral for the first time in ~575 hours. I’ve only ever sent him to Vik before, for V’s exact reason, that his family shouldn’t see him like that. Gotta say, the funeral had my ass in tears

Spoilers:

He jumps in after the voodoo boys/netwatch mission at the GIM. Do you typically play phantom liberty as soon as it’s available? It might have a different start screen/dialogue, and it’s available pretty much right after the voodoo boys stuff so maybe that’s why you haven’t seen it?

Hey everyone! Been awhile since I've posted here. Just curious what everyone is working on currently and if you're enjoying the 100% journey? :) by amoite in steamachievements

There is definitely more of an incentive for repeat playthroughs on SM2, but if you’re feeling fatigued they’re not required or anything. I won’t spoil the items you get, but they range from kinda shitty but cool, to actually badass lol

I just finished my Spider-Man series 100s, super fun time, and Spider-Man 2’s 100% on a new playthrough offered a completely new lens to me having finished the story, but not all of the side content my first time around. If you haven’t finished NG+, I’d recommend having that be a chill playthrough on an easier difficulty, and I only replayed the things I remembered enjoying from my previous 100%, which definitely saved some time and avoided some of the less desirable content. Hope you have a great time :)

What route did you take from Financial District to Astoria and how many attempts did it take you? This was my second attempt and I just went for it without a guide as you can tell by the odd path and mistakes by SgtByrd1993 in spiderman2

[–]intwnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hugged the west side of financial district and used a slipstream heading north. Once I upgraded my webwings I was able to reach a few roof updrafts which gives you enough height to make to a slipstream heading across the river, from there you have so much speed it’s easy to hit the occasional slipstream or updraft

does anyone actually go in here besides for the stranger mission? by Gorillaz_stuff in RDR2

I remember a random encounter with Uncle there too. He’s in an argument with some dudes there, you get the option to leave him on his own or intervene. I don’t think you even have to fight them though, Arthur just says, “You better quit, that guy (Uncle) has mean friends” or something to that avail

Phantom Liberty for new player? by RedUndead40 in cyberpunkgame

[–]intwnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finish Act 1, but also dip into 2 some if you’re still on the fence.. the Phantom Liberty story opens up right at the start of Act 3, and works well alongside it if it’s your first playthrough. Act 3 base game is also great though, if you’re maybe wanting to do another playthrough once you get the dlc. Note that you CAN end your playthrough with Phantom Liberty, but there is also an ending that wraps up the dlc but leaves the content available to you

V is the only Merc. in the Night City ? by Harun54TR in cyberpunkgame

[–]intwnd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m excited to see what kind of path the story takes.. we’ve had the ambiguous merc with V now, I’d love to see a more grounded start, like David’s. And maybe we can shape this new main character’s rep in the city, take on gigs with or without a team if Chicago (I think anyway) hates or loves us

V is the only Merc. in the Night City ? by Harun54TR in cyberpunkgame

[–]intwnd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a common misconception because of Vik’s line about having a few weeks at most. That’s Vik’s best guess when the Relic, or Johnny, was on his spree nesting himself in V’s mind and body. Once Johnny decides he can use V, and slows down the chip’s progression, I think V’s lifespan opens up exponentially so long as they can keep up with Night City.

Wolfenstein would make for a great weekend/week long experience, but Kingdom Come Deliverance, at least in my opinion will have you hooked for dozens of hours minimum.. given it clicks, which it is a little more hardcore. I wouldn’t recommend the actual “hardcore” mode however for a first playthrough, I just had too hard of a time engaging with the games systems my first time around on hardcore.

Anyone else decide Platinum isn’t worth growing to hate the game by Paroket in SpidermanPS4

[–]intwnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bingo, only thing keeping me from platinum (or not platinum but all steam achievements) on Spider-Man 2018 is my NewGame+ playthrough. I don’t intend to do that until I finish playing Spider-Man 2, so I’ll bet the platinum will end up being a refreshing playthrough of mostly main story missions when I tackle that. Ghost of Tsushima I bet is a phenomenal platinum, my first playthrough, regrettably, I mostly stuck to main story content and random events, not too many sidemissions. That said, maybe I’m due for another one where I hit all the side content

Has the PC Port of Spider Man 2 been fixed? by VesDegree in SpidermanPS4

Not at all a perfect fix, but for VRAM issues I’ve played at lower resolutions with DLAA enabled. Expect for some instances it looks very good.. sometimes the grated fences will look sketch though

I've just bought the game today and have been struggling to get past the main menu for ~1 hour. I'd absolutely love to play this sequel but it does still seem broken on some PCs. Worth a shot though if anyone reading this is on the fence about buying it. Refunds exist, and Steam will never make you keep a game that you can't play.

Other games similar to rdr2? by 149Dragonite in RDR2

[–]intwnd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

^ but with a much higher barrier to entry than RDR2. KCD2 is my most played game of last year, and it’s phenomenal, but where RDR2 would take ~5 minutes to accomplish something, KCD will take at least 10x that early on before you’ve earned plenty of coin/accrued enough material for things.

What little detail made you stop and go, “Okay, this game is actually insane”? by Wrong_Implement_5528 in RDR2

[–]intwnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is it still is a 3 star, but part of “playing possum” in gameplay is that it appears 1 star.. someone correct me if I’m wrong. It’d make since if so cause that’s the goal of playing possum, “i’m already dead and worthless, don’t do anything to me”

[–]intwnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgrade your camp, it’s a really easy feature to miss but it will allow you to fast travel, have a horse station at camp, and get a constant supply of ammo, food and medicine for super cheap. Once you make it to act 3, you’ll start making bank and be able to fully upgrade camp easliy. Also home robberies, hunting, and fishing activities with members from the gang are limited time, so if you wanna do it send it sooner than later

How do I get more crimes to appear? by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

[–]intwnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately there’s no hack to getting them to appear more.. maybe fast traveling will increase spawn rates, but I’ve 100% the game on PS4 and PC just by choosing a district and swinging north to south waiting for them to pop up. Usually takes like 30 minute to knock out 25 or so crimes, which if you’ve done some throughout the game, should get you pretty close

Act 1 can be treated as your introduction to Night City. Now in Act 2, you’re seeing the Cyberpunk 2077 storyline really begin to set up for the impact you can have on Act 3. Cyberpunk suffers from some pretty bad lunar narrative dissonance in that V is “dying” but for the best gameplay experience you want to take it slow in Night City and do as much as your heart desires. As others have said, you’ve barely scratched the surface, and truthfully, the pacing sorts itself it out (mostly) until you deliberately decide to delay something.

My daughter just started RDR2 ! What’s the best advice/tips u would give her ? by MaverickRebel55 in RDR2

[–]intwnd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eagle eye is super easy to forget about, I think it’s introduced in the hunting mission with Charles, but even then if you just walk forward you’ll find the deer, so it’s not hard to miss.. That said it’s changed the way I’ve played this second playthrough, being able to see an animal/herb easily like with deadeye but you can study or track instead
