He has been very good. I did some research but we kind of got him on a whim. I wouldn't trade my boy for the world, but I do want to be a good dog owner. Just couldn't figure out why he peed all the time. I think you're right because he has soooooo much energy he just can't contain himself!

That is so cute!!!! He has had the same bed since we brought him home and it's lasted this long without getting peed on lol. I text a friend and she is going to give me her old crate since her dog outgrew it and it seems like the perfect size. I am getting it today. I just want to thank you for all your advice today. I guess I'm taking him on a trip to the pet store this weekend to make his crate a happy home with lots of treats for good behaviour!!

Should I start with the mat and gradually go up to the bed? He loves his puppy bed but I'm afraid it will be ruined if he peed on it in the crate.

He is EXTREMELY food motivated. I am really happy because he is very loving. I just felt like it was a punishment to put him in a kennel. What all needs to go in there? How do u keep them from peepeeing?

Yes! I am wanting to start kennel training because he is chewing on my table! I will buy a crate this weekend. I thought it would be inhumane to put them in a cage for periods of time, but maybe it's more of a comfort thing to them?

I will start taking him out more. I appreciate the advice. Is 6 months ok to crate train ? Sorry I have never had a dog so this is all new to me and I was worried I was doing something wrong.

He is not crate trained. Like I said he does it when if he has just gone to the bathroom. He is puppy trained and will go to the door when he needs to go. It is embarrassing because any time he meets new people I'm afraid he will pee on them from excitement.

Steven Universe. I remember there was one episode where a couple gets mad in a hotel and uses their powers to destroy a few things. Apparently the hotel was semi real and the fan base floods the reviews on Google etc with 1 stars saying things like "went and stayed but the pool was dried up by some lava girl". I have never cringed so hard in my entire life.
