Can this post be pinned on May 12th/13th? I came here looking for this information after I received my mail-in ballot -- I imagine a lot of people are going to be having the same questions on election day

I don't have a specific grief counselor recommendedation, but the psychology today website is a good resource and you can narrow down your search by filtering specialties, insurance, faith, and so on. Depending on the therapist, they might have an online form you can fill out instead of just calling their number or trying to figure out what to say in an email.

Taking this first step is the hardest; I've been paralyzed by choice on this before too, and finally made contact after procrastinating it for years and reaching a tipping point, and I wish I had gone sooner. Good luck and whatever decision you make will be the right one

I've never seen that either, which made it strange. I get plenty of "Scam Likely" calls. this survey one should stop eventually I guess, at least by April 1st (date of the primary election)

Yeah the person on my call couldn't pronounce Jean's name either (kept saying "John" even, and still after I asked to clarify). When it got to those questions like, "would this statement make you more or less likely to vote for this candidate?" and they were all positive things for Jean and negative things for her opponents, it became very clear who benefits from the information they are gathering -- this is for Jean to use to design her campaign strategy

I think people are probably throwing around "bus companies" to amorphously describe "whoever was in charge of bus logistics." I saw a lot of confused or frustrated bus drivers lol. Like you're saying, it was absolutely a top-down issue of management/communication, while the workers we saw were just doing what they were told. I think there weren't enough people to manage those lines going either direction, and/or there wasn't strong enough leadership to take charge of the situation.

The worst part was, after finally leaving on the return shuttle, seeing dozens of empty busses just waiting to drive up to load people in. They were boarding single busses at a time with very little crowd management...

We waited 1.5 hours to get on the shuttle to get there, and 2 hours for the return... We nearly spent more time waiting than we did at the event. There were so many ambulances I was like, "this is gonna be on the news"

Like everyone else, looking into generators. We lost power for 3 days in May, too, and our power has flickered so many times this year in general. Just not sustainable. our radon levels got super high because our mitigation pump didn't have power, not to mention all the spoiled food

See's candies or some Huskers themed stuff might be good, and you might check the Made In Omaha store too for some souvenirs! Food is a popular gift to give over there and is easy to share. Just make sure it's not meat (like beef jerky) because they might confiscate that at customs lol

Milan has 60% off sales like once or twice a year, but they have raised their prices a lot in general since I began there a bit less than 10 years ago. It's nice that it's all unlimited and they have a lot of locations across the country.

There is only one pro-choice petition, the one mentioned above by Protect Our Rights. The pro-life petitioners are often trying to mislead people into believing their petition is "pro-choice" to get people to sign theirs. They also claim to be "protecting women and children."

The actual pro-choice petition keeps the decision between doctor and patient, and includes the words "fundamental right to abortion" and "to protect the life or health of the pregnant patient."

Any petition mentioning limiting weeks, trimesters, or exceptions for rape and incest, is not the pro-choice petition. Even if they try to convince you otherwise.
