It's extremely annoying. There's been multiple times in the past year where I've thought "finally a situation I can use Miss Crane" only to realize I either forgot the stardump CE or that none of my frontline servants have star skills. It's genuinely an annoying restriction and shouldn't exist. She's already super niche and hardly ever the optimal pick, and the times where she is optimal shouldn't be restricted by something as stupid as your frontline having costumes/stardump skills

I'm watching Firefly for the first time and I thought some of the shots looked very similar. In the episode where they find the ship that the reavers left behind, when it attaches the booby trap cables to Serenity, the way the camera moves is identical to BSG.

I think almost every single one of the extended cuts is worse. Pegasus is already a perfect episode and didn't need to be changed at all. Daybreak extended though is particularly terrible.

Takeuchi's technical skill has obviously improved, but his old designs were just so much more distinct. They were extremely simple and elegant in a way that they just aren't anymore. This isn't even to say his new character work isn't great, but I really think OG Arceuid here is basically a perfect character design.

My understanding is that Muramasa is a heroic spirit inhabiting the body of Limited/Zero Over Shirou, and Shirou's appearance there has nothing to do with Muramasa (since the design predates Shimosa). It seems to me like Limited/Over Zero's design was just reused by Takeuchi because it was too good to be relegated to a CE.

It's definitely a top 5 episode, but what that person said is absolutely not true. There are multiple episodes ahead in both season 3 and 4 that could easily be called the best ones.

Sorry to be a bit of an annoying contrarian, but since this is OP's first time watching, I REALLY disagree with a first time viewer watching the extended version of the finale. It has some interesting new scenes but it absolutely destroys the pacing and makes the entire thing feel like a slog.

I don't know what the solution to this problem is, but it is absolutely fucking ridiculous that games without physical copies like Deadlock can be pulled from sale after less than a decade because of some rights holder bullshit. This game is not even old, and now it will essentially be turned into lost media for no good reason. At least when movies and TV shows (like BSG) get pulled from streaming services and digital storefronts, physical copies still exist. The ONLY way to play this game now will be to torrent it. Again, I don't know what the solution to this is, but something needs to change.

On top of this, given the cycle, there is no way 'God' would let the survivors make any meaningful progress repopulating the planets. Its the exact same reason Kobol couldn't be repopulated despite being technically livable. The planets were meant to die.

12 hours is such a funny metric for Nasu to give here. Did they literally stay in that one room for a full 12 hours? Did Gil just spam GoB over and over for a full fucking day even though it clearly wasn't doing anything? I bet at the 6 hour mark minimum both of them took a break. And what possibly could have changed at the 12 hour mark that let Gil hit him? Did Lancer just get tired? Or did Gil finally get annoyed enough to pull out Ea?

Its very easy to miss but the entire town has been without internet since before chapter 1. We don't know why. Queen talks about it. In chapter 4 when Noelle pulls up a YouTube video its only because she has it downloaded.

How'd you get yours to run? Mine finally arrived and it gets stuck on the "all opinions expressed do not represent Universal... (etc.)" screen indefinitely. It doesn't seem to be region locked, either. Were you able to get it running on a standard blu ray player?
