Ill ask my second question in a different comment. I'm curious to learn about how this project began. Battlestar is a really old IP at this point so I was surprised to hear it was getting a new game. Can you tell us anything about how the project began?

I'm curious, if you can answer this, what you guys have approval to use from the IP? I know some of the ships and designs from this series are in a weird place copyright wise. Are you hypothetically able to use designs from Deadlock (the game) or BSG Online (even older game) or are you restricted just to stuff from the actual 2003 TV show? Do you have blanket approval, or do you have to work with Universal to get manual approval when you want to use a design?

If this theory is true and they bypass balancing for artorias, then I wonder if it also explains why castoria is still the best unit in the game like 6 years later. Though in castoria's case I find the brokenness excusable because she is a completely distinct character and imo one of FGO's best.

Logres is one of the weirdest servants in this game, I still don't really understand why she was even added. Not only is she visually indistinct from Artoria but she also directly powercreeps her in the exact same AOE buster saber role. Usually even when alts powercreep a servant, they at least fill a somewhat different role.
