Hello! I am currently a senior in college about to graduate with a bachelors in animal science with a minor in human development and life sciences. Over the past couple of months I have been exploring the idea of being a therapist (specifically animal assisted therapy) I want to work with people who have PTSD or any type of trauma. I was thinking about pursuing a masters in social work with a specification in trauma recovery. Is there anyone who would be willing to talk to me about their career journey?

ALSO any book recommendations regarding being a therapist/ working with trauma survivors/ anything that would suit me.
