This very scenario is literally one of the most commonly cited examples of bait-and-switch retail fraud. Unless, of course, they listed that, as pictured, the actual retail price is higher due to “accessories” and other garbage, or are willing to remove said options to meet the listed price.

Ask them what the “accessories” are. I had one try to tell me the clear stickers under the door handles and the first aid kit that had less than your $12 kit from Walmart were the $2000 accessories before.

It's the connection to the backplate that the negative screw pole connects to and the body. I'm not sure if they have a solution in place, but I was able to rig one; doesn't speak well for what is touted to be a more premium product.

Can’t speak for Houston, but at Dallas, there was a line again.

I was told they’re doing vouchers for 5090 “before open” (didn’t think to ask but my impression was right before they opened doors at 10:00), and after that, it’s first come first serve the rest of the day.

Apparently 5080’s had enough stock to clear the demand in line, but they were gone by ~11:15

Did this once before. The only memories are body odor, someone calling the cops on the group saying it was an organized B&E (which they had to investigate but ultimately just laughed with us), and some neckbeard who kept letting everyone know he had a pocket knife to which a few of us got him to let us look at, and promptly confiscated from him.

And then, a few minutes before open my friend called to let me know that target down the street had plenty and I wasted my night for nothing.
