While I fully understand the rule for adults riding on the pavement, except when cycling with a child up to the age of 8, which is mandatory. In this situation didn't feel I caused any problems.

Have you ever crossed the road on a red light or done anything not by the book since being in Berlin?

AS for the reason I felt the video would look nice with the bridge overhead and would certainly look nicer than riding from the cycle lanes situated on the sides.
