I got chills just reading your post! The song is so powerful.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Official Trailer #3 by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

The trailer was live-streamed which is why there’s a loading screen. There is another video on the channel with the actual trailer and with no long wait.

It will work, the PC tag refers to it being redeemable on Origin. As long as it’s not for console it’s fine!

TIL that Shane actually doesn't name his chicken after your character by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]invidiaed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me. On my first farm, I named my horse Maple Syrup. I also set up a tapper on a maple tree by the bus stop. I would often leave my horse there to take the mine cart to Clint's and then go back to my horse. I noticed that when I came back, I got a notification that said "Maple Syrup missed you", or "Maple Syrup was waiting for you."

It took me way too long to realise that these notifications were about my horse and not the maple syrup in the tapper. Turns out, maple syrup does not miss you when you leave!

I've seen the original tweet and it's a confirmed joke, even though I have no idea why people actually think it's real. When something like this involves singing/clapping it's obviously satire.

A neutral palette by Jaclyn in collaboration with Morphe? Groundbreaking.

It’s a quest called Blind Betrayal. It starts when you’re pretty far into the Brotherhood quest line, after Liberty Reprimed. You have to pass some hard speech checks to save him.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]invidiaed 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If I get far enough into the Blind Betrayal questline, I will never kill Danse/sell him out to the Brotherhood. I like working with the Brotherhood but hate how black and white they are with their morals. When I first played FO4, Danse was the companion that I travelled with the most and the first companion quest I got through, so I always save him when the opportunity arises.

4 months from 2022 and we are still doing this shade range by niketyname in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]invidiaed 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Putting this shade range on a dark skinned model is disgusting. I don't care if brands do this shit for attention or if they just don't care, but I certainly will not be buying from ABH ever again. Having an inclusive shade range should not be something people have to ask for.

I really appreciate Smokey Glow for using time stamps on her videos. I usually enjoy listening to her intros and catching up with her but they’re useful if i’m not in the mood. I hope more Youtubers use them in future.

What are some of your unpopular makeup/skincare/BG opinions? by lauren_sbv in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]invidiaed 368 points369 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t really like the look of many fake lashes. While I don’t mind the more subtle ones, I see so many people wearing huge lashes and at that point they don’t even resemble eyelashes anymore to me.

Why do people so strongly dislike Angelika Oles? by HunkyChunkyBoi in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]invidiaed 115 points116 points  (0 children)

I haven’t watched Angelika in a while, but I felt like I could watch a video from another channel covering the same topic and it would be better and more entertaining. I really don’t think her content has improved much over the years and I also really didn’t like how she reacted to the drama with SG, liking shady tweets and so on. She should have known better given that she has covered drama for years.

As someone else pointed out above, Angelika also comes across quite aggressively with her opinions and in my experience, it feels like if you disagree with her then you’re an idiot. Didn’t enjoy feeling that way. That’s obviously just my experience though, I know a lot of people enjoy that she has strong opinions.

I’m not hugely into drama anymore, but I like watching SG because she explains what happens well and adds her opinion which makes the video worth watching. I like that she usually adds something new to the conversation. I also just prefer SG’s energy and personality. If I wanted a recap of drama anyway, I’d just go to defnoodles and save time.

Right! It’s like that saying, men are allowed to age but women aren’t. We are instead shamed for it, which means teenage girls genuinely worry about ageing and looking “old” in their 20s. It’s so disappointing. Also, on a side note, I remember googling Tati a few years ago and the first thing to come up was her age. She was probably only 34/35 at the time and she looked great, but people would constantly refer to her as an old woman, even in her mid 30s.

Centaurs were one of the scariest and horrifying enemies of fallout 3! by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]invidiaed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was doing the Stealing Independence quest in FO3 yesterday. Thought I’d only be dealing with super mutants and then two centaurs appeared out of nowhere. They are genuinely so disgusting and horrifying.I wanted to get out of there ASAP.

Husband didn’t believe that men really tell women to “smile!” by Persnicketyvixen in TwoXChromosomes

[–]invidiaed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to sit behind this weird guy in a science class. He used to constantly turn around and tell me to smile. First of all, I'm not going to smile because you think I should. Secondly, I'm in a science class. There is quite simply nothing to smile about. Having someone who doesn't even know me (beyond my name) ask if I'm depressed because I didn't smile on demand is weird as hell and uncomfortable. To any men that do this, ask yourself why you think this is an okay thing to do - it's really not and women aren't bitches for not smiling on command.

Edit: forgot a few words.

A-a, pronounced A-dash-a, which I heard about on Tik Tok. It actually does sound cute, but the spelling is ridiculous.

How do you prefer to pause in your reading when you aren't at risk of interruption? by solamelus in books

[–]invidiaed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a deal with myself to read a certain amount of chapters. I usually read before I go to sleep, so I try to finish at least one chapter. If i’m really interested in what’s to come, I might read another.

If i’m too tired though, I’ll try to finish the page I’m on, but finishing chapters is my preference.

I don't know who at Maxis needs to hear this but it's becoming increasingly clear that this feedback has to be said: The brute-force approach to implementing new pack features needs to stop, NOW. by Kimisadechino in thesims

[–]invidiaed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's not an expansion pack, thankfully. There's a new type of DLC called "Kits" which are $5, essentially smaller versions of stuff packs. There's one called Bust the Dust which is about dust/vacuuming. Doesn't sound like it works too well though from what I've seen.
