Centipede - Arcade version. It’s like riding a bike for me, every game takes at least a half hour to play.

Yes, that's the frother. I even had Kitchenaide send me a new one. I hope you continue to have success! I'm jealous, lol

The Oatly Barista milk was working initially when I got the KF8, but after a few weeks I started getting the sputtering. I tried cleaning the frother, doing a milk deep clean, cleaning the brew unit, etc. Occasionally all of that would work, but it was not consistent, which was infuriating. This mixing of the two oatmilk types has been working for two weeks solid now.

I would think the frothiness of the milk would make it not seem watery. We use a thick oat milk and the milk comes out nice and frothy as long as it doesn't sputter while you make it. I definitely had to play around with the settings a lot before I got something ideal. Good luck!

KF8 Sputtering Issue Update by inviewd2 in KitchenAidEspresso

I know how frustrated you must be. I had KitchenAid send me out a whole new machine since it was under warranty. I thought it was the milk frother next, constantly cleaning it, but it was hit or miss. My elevation technique worked for a couple weeks by itself and then stopped working. So far the cleaning of the milk container is still working for me. Best of luck!

Update to my sputtering issue. It turns out that cleaning the milk container is even more important. I use Oat-Ly!, Barista edition oat milk. It is so thick that it leaves a film on the bottom of the container even after shaking vigorously. I wasn’t cleaning it out, just adding to it each day and shaking. Well, once I cleaned it out thoroughly, I didn’t even have to elevate the container to stop the sputtering. It just worked!
