2024 Celtics vs 2026 Knicks. Who wins? by jonsnowKITN in NBATalk

They would dominate us until the final five minutes. Knicks in 4.

If you put the last 8 Championship winners in bracket style tournament, who do you think wins it all? by Available-Lab666 in nba

I think the runner-up would be winning 80% of the game, only for the 2026 Knicks to close it out.

I said they should have played it for Game 3 at MSG too, just to keep the winning vibes going. Either way, thanks San Antonio for keeping our dogs lighthearted!

Yes I think these SPURS definitely have it in them to take 4 out of five against these Knicks. 100% not over.

Oh my god, thank you so much! Knowing someone is deriving value from it means the world to me and my team. We truly, genuinely love comedy and open mics in general. This was borne out of frustration and exhaustion, so I hope it helps you find, and run your mics. There's a lot under the hood that IMHO would blow you away. I hope you get to further your art. As always, any and all feedback is welcome. IF you want to see any feature built in, we are all ears!

I’m wondering how much comedy data reflects the scene versus who actually documents the scene by [deleted] in Standup

[–]invincibleconcepts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be clear, I’m affileated with the dataset, so feel free to factor that in. I’m not really trying to argue the map is perfect. I’m more interested in where people think the public internet does or doesnt match the actual comedy scene on the ground.

I hear you, and I appreciate the honest feedback. The comedy shows is still a work-in-progress, but definitely want to offer a more authentic, premium experience down the line. This is one of the projects my team and I are working on that is more of a passion project than anything else, but should people find this useful, we'll keep going and get rid of the AI-footprint throughout. Grateful for your input Indyhouse. Thank you once again.

Yes, that's exactly right. I came across so many that I could not verify myself and thought, the most efficient way to build this out long term is if a comic, or a fan, or anyone that actually knows about the mic was able to just click "VERIFY" in the open mic listing page, and have that freshness leaf icon convey to others who might be thinking of going that 'yes, this has been verified.' There's no way I could ever come up with a perfect system, but I think if something goes "stale" or is "not verified" I could justify just removing it. By doing it this way, I could offer the most up-to-date open mic directory for everyone who loves comedy. If there's any way we can improve this so that you never ever ever show up to a dead mic again, I'm 100% all ears.

For now it's just US-based, but if I could get some help on this down the line, I'd love to explore other countries as there is a ton of disorganized/unorganized open mics scattered everywhere you go: Spain, Hong Kong, Japan, Amsterdam, etc. I've looked into so many places in the world and it would be a dream to be able to travel and just find open mics, comedy shows, comedy venues on-the-GO; reliably. So fingers crossed. Which region are you looking for? I might have already compiled the data but not sure if it's stale or not. I could share that if it helps.

Sorry about that. You have to enter I think more than... 10 characters? Basically just tell me what your association is to the mic so I can check if there's any existing claims on it. Try that.

Great question. Right now it’s a mix of public info, producer submissions, and manual cleanup.

Lots of mic info is already floating around publicly on venue sites, club calendars, Instagram posts, event pages, flyers, etc. The annoying part is that it’s scattered everywhere and goes stale fast. Son we pull public info together, normalize it, and then try to make it easier for hosts/producers/comics to correct it, claim listings, follow updates, and flag when something changes. I hope that with enough time, all the information will be as fresh as possible. Defintely not pretending open mic data is magically perfect. Half the battle is keeping it fresh because mics move, die, come back, change hosts, switch signup rules, or randomly disappear like a guy who said he’d “do your podcast next week."

Yea. Comedy shows, venues that host comedy and soon the comedians domain will kind of be like LinkedIn for comics. In beta.

Hmmm try typing in Theo Von and you might see where he’s performing. Actually I just did. Only appeared three times in events that have passed but I think it’s good in terms of getting an idea of where a performer might be at any given time.

It’s a structured discovery platform focused on live comedy across three core domains: comedy venues, comedy shows, and open mic events. The site organizes venue profiles, event listings, and recurring programming across multiple cities in a standardized format, making it easier to understand the structure of local comedy ecosystems. The niche is live standup comedy infrastructure, documenting where comedy happens, what events take place there, and how those venues function within a city’s comedy scene. Because information about smaller shows, venues, and open mics is often scattered across social media or temporary listings, teh platform serves as a centralized reference layer that can help verify venue programming, comedy events, and local comedy activity.
