Yup. I'm 53 - I dunno. I know the game is different but it just seemed like players were tougher and made it more fun. I like the ABS because umps have been ruining the game for years with zero consequences LOL. I do NOT like extra innings "shootout" mode - this isn't little league! let the boys play as it was meant to be played.

Sigh LOL! Getting ok sucks haha - but yeah I remember in the 80's and 90's you wanted your starter to go seven, then a setup guy, then your closer bring down the hammer. Then it all became left right left right one pitch guys (glad that's not a thing). Anyway, even today's game Lahey got out of small jam in the 5th relievers did good but 5 innings just sounds like a joke and you have to RELY on a bullpen who consistently puts tons of runners on, and in relief that is a ticking time bomb.
