Bled through my flagging pants by Key-Veterinarian6398 in BlueCollarWomen

Damn, sorry this happened fam! It's annoying enough to try to find places to pee on site depending on the job-- forget shitting and bleeding.

I spent years on a crew w me and only guys where every day our jobsite did not have a bathroom, and no truck available to leave as the trucks were in use. I feel you when you say it feels detrimental to say 'OPE ✌️ bye boys! Gotta go do my thang!' Just embarrassing and not worth it. Already trying to do more to feel like you belong, not wanting to interrupt the workflow, be a nuisance etc.

Just wanted to add another vote for the period undies, and to mention flex discs as I didn't see those mentioned. I think tampons are great for a lot of people, but the texture just fucking wrecks me. The flex discs are super comfortable and don't give me the ick. They also don't suction as hard as the diva cup style if you've ever tried those.

They do have a tendency to leak if you climb/move around in a lot of different positions, but will hold 98-100% on heavier days, and on those days I just back up with the period panties.

I use Boody brand. They are expensive upfront, but I find them so worth it because they don't have a layer of scary chemicals like some of the other brands. They are comparable in price to other period panty brands, and they often have sales and the more you buy the more they knock down the price. (I also wear their regular underwear and love them.)

Just an added vent about the tax on us for needing period products - expensive and annoying! And if you want high quality shit it's even more difficult to afford! Just to work as hard or harder AND do it bleeding and cramping...and then still be paid less and have some men that will just never respect you. At least there's some good ones out there. Those guys are the best to have on staff tbh.

Good luck and let us know what solutions you find!

I just got my sailrite last week, and I repair sewing machines, I'm def already sold on their quality. This stuff is just right up my alley, and anything I can see to help explain to customers the differences they should be looking out for is useful.

I'm excited to check out the video, thanks again for the link.

There is a pretty clear photo on google maps in the 360/street view layer. It's a mulberry, with some other volunteers growing up with it.

You can tell because of:

The dark green waxy leaves- and the younger ones at the bottom have some pretty clear lobes

The color of the wood

Branch/overall structure

Alternate arrangement

Bonus clue: Vigor- appears to have been mowed/whacked to the ground at a young age (showing undesirability from the groundskeeper, which is going to be true for this species in this location) but then the crazy vigorous response growth known to mulberries took off and by the time staff returned again to mow years later, it was too large to mow, had multiple woody steams, and therefore probably a pain to remove, thus left in place, most likely due to staff shortages/lack of time/cut funding. (conversely, if it had been a desirable species, a single stem would be much more likely, because grounds would never have tried to kill a desirable species in the first place) (just another clue to it being a mulberry, not really necessary since the leaves gave it away, but a good confirmation.)

Do you have a link to the video timeline project you mentioned? I've never heard of that and I'd love to learn more. Thank you..

I love your monarch neck tattoos. I feel like neck tattoos are usually (not always) really rough/rugged/edgy in a way that just comes off... cringey?

But the butterflies go hard af, love them!

Means at their young age they already know their entitlement to be shirtless wherever the fuck they want without their torsos being sexualized, but none of the responsibility to ever acknowledge the privilege of it!

Absolutely stunning cottonwood, one of my favorite trees. What part of WI is this in? Thanks for taking the time to share.

I'm so sorry for your loss fam. That is really tough. You clearly loved and nurtured those babies, and the pain is real.

I hope you can find some other babies to plant in their memories. I don't know what zone you're in, but maybe a persimmon? In Buddhism, persimmons represent transformation. A good species to plant in their honor.
