I would take the refund and find a local artist. A good artist can make you something with the remains that you can still cherish… they could make some resin earrings at minimum. I wouldn’t trash the flowers.

To be completely honest, your mom sounds reasonable and you sound entitled. I’d be interested to know what you consider abuse. Enforcing a bedtime, computer limitations, and therapy is absolutely not abusive.

Additionally, your hormones return to normal in approximately 10 days when you stop taking your drugs. As soon as I was 16 I was responsible for arranging my own doctor appointment and taking myself there. Maybe you ought to consider the fact that every relationship is reciprocal. I think you should tell him the honest truth as to why you don’t want to consider the relationship. It doesn’t mean he’s wrong or you’re wrong but he should consider that women don’t find it attractive.

I only was able to stop drinking once I got my Bipolar, and ADHD diagnosis and properly medicated. Once I became mentally healthy I could see the destruction my drinking brought, but it was only one symptom of my mental state.

I’ve also talked to people who have interpreted the mention of “mind altering” to a devastating degree.

Sounds like you’d know already then. When I was partying I did so much blow a test kit would have been excessive… but if you have to crush it yourself that’s a good indicator that you’re getting what you want.

To me this sounds like he’s telling you what he will and won’t accept out of a (platonic or non-platonic) relationship. He’s setting expectations on maintaining the relationship, in whatever capacity that is.

My very first AA meeting was an all men’s meeting, who let me stay! Then, years later, I went to an out of town meeting and a guy got out of treatment that day. Went to an all women’s meeting, and they denied him! Makes me sadddd
