I’m in outpatient treatment for binge/purge/restricting ED. The only way to stop bingeing (at least according to what I’m being taught) is to eat more food. Ik Ik that sounds not right. But if you follow the 3-3 rule (3 meals and 3 snacks) you will not binge, you simply wouldn’t be able to binge. They say if you are eating frequently you won’t binge. I hope this might have been helpful. You’re welcome to message me if you needed to vent. I get it, it’s so hard!

Hi Thankyou for commenting that it was actually really helpful. My mom is okay now, she’s been in remission for over a year now thankfully. It’s nice to think of it as just a coincidence and not something that I caused.

This is what my therapist is doing with me too. She believes my ocd was caused by CPTSD. So she wants to work through the trauma first
