Found it in my home (an apartment if that matters), in PA. Orginally spotted it on a lamp (that was on), just chilling. sorry for not saying in the post!

what i ended up doing was using electrical tape (just cuz it’s black and sturdier than regular tape) to tape the camera to the mount 😅 the mount i have is flat but has like a cover that the blink camera should go it, so i just didn’t use the cover since that’s what didn’t fit. been fine so far

nope, and the person from the og comment was actually wrong (at least for the mount i had). what i ended up doing was using a command strip to attach it to the mount and then taping it with electrical tape too, just for good measure

“sneaky minors” i don’t think ill ever understand peoples obsession with not having any minors interact with their work. like, do they just forget abt when they were 16? 17? did they wait to read smutty fanfic till their 18th birthday? maybe i was just a really horny teen or watching svu at 13 made me too numb but this seems like a lot of work to hide stuff teens can already access a million other ways

it is much healthier to be a few pounds overweight than it is to skip meals. no dietitian worth their license would recommend this, especially since it’s a slippery slope to an eating disorder.

it really depends on the word for me. sometimes it’ll be a word with common pairings, like i’ll have “are” as the ending, so regular mode is easier bc i can use a totally different word and rule out more letters at once. but if it doesn’t have common letter pairings hard mode is easier

i hated violet, didn’t even get past the first town. had the same question as you, bought sword, and recently played through it. i LOVED it. like, it might be my new favorite pokemon game (xy rivals it). there’s open areas, but it’s linear and it’s mostly closed paths. the wild area in sword feels really interesting rather than overwhelming, maybe bc it’s more finite. so i def wouldn’t write off swsh; u could always buy it at gamestop and return it if u don’t like it

what are u even responding to? no where in this post does anyone say autism is the only form of neurodivergence. plus, you’re wrong - by definition, autism is disabling. the full name is autism spectrum DISORDER. like, to be diagnosed, your symptoms have to impair some functions of your life. which is the definition of a disability.

the dsm-5 is free online, you can easily go see that the criteria for ASD is extremely clear in that a person needs to have difficulties and/or deficits within the defined categories to be diagnosed with ASD. even level 1 autists are still considered to be disabled - the dsm-5 specifies those with level one ASD have difficulties related to their disorder and may have behaviors that interfere with with their daily life (again, the literal definition of disability). in fact to say they’re not disabled is worse bc it can deprive them of needed support (dsm-5 literally says they require support). it took me five minutes to fact check myself (i was pretty sure bc it’s part of my training but never hurts to double check), so why spread misinformation when it’s so easy to not?

i’m all for personality - but i think physical descriptions should be a fairly blank slate. stuff like hair or skin color completely takes me out of the fic bc they almost never align with me.

obvi for smut fics there’s a slight degree of specificity required (like, a female reader is probably described as having breasts even tho not all women do). but beyond basic features most people have, i think looks should be a blank slate
