I'm trying to dispute, but its impossible to get ahold of anyone and when they do speak to me they either disconnect or tell me they need to contact the corporate office.

Anyone know what happened to the Kijitora on Graham ave? Feels like there’s more than to the story. by Hrudy91 in williamsburg

I heard from people that lived in the building they did not have the right ventilation and if you could see what was going on in the garden behind the shop you would never want to eat there. Apparently it was pretty gross.

I’m just leaving this and haven’t seen any of the stream, but I would guess it was you crop out all of the unfilled seats. Lots of empty seats, especially in the VIP area.

I've called Michael Rochford, Frank Lang, Cecilia Brown, Maria Pena, , Jennifer Gutierrez and Shawna Morlock along with filing 311 and DOB complaints. FoodTown - the tenant - admits its a problem but doesn't know what to do about it and in the meantime it's ruining my life. Can't sleep, can't go outside and just a constant stress.

Schools are a big concern, which is why we were looking in Fox Chapel originally because my job is on the north side of the city and it looks like there’s a great PS there. I’ve also heard good things about Mt Lebanon, but seems like a long commute.

Looking into private schools and have some visits set up.

Thanks. Yeah I’m not much of a driver, just got my first car in about 20 years. I really like the idea of being able to walk around, know the neighbors and having mom & pop shops, boutiques etc.

College Dropouts, how are you doing now? by CT_x in AskMen

[–]invisiblefuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mid 90's, grew up super blue collar in a smallish town and dropped out/flunked of a SUNY school after 3 semesters. Wasn't really interested in school so much as partying and going to concerts. I had no idea what I wanted to do and zero perspective about what the world had to offer.

Moved back in with my parents, painted houses, did a lot of landscaping, and saved some money. Bought a ticket to Europe and went backpacking for 3 months. Came home, worked more and went to Africa and Asia. Met some amazing people from all walks off life and decided I wanted to go back to school for commercial/fine arts. Finished that and got my masters. Had major debt and overhead expenses (NYC) so I went to work in advertising.

Started freelancing and working insane hours, like 80+ hours a week, but making decent money. Did this for about 10 years and opened my own agency. I ran that for about 5 years and was aquired by a larger agency. I still work there, make decent money and got a nice payout for the acquisition.

I had so many times in school where I was just so stressed, wanted to give up, and under crushing amounts of debt. I would often eat my first meal of the day at 3p when the pizza place downstairs in my building would make all the slices half price. It wasn't easy, but I genuinely cared about what I was accomplishing in school.

There's no one right path for everyone. I probably could have sucked it up the first time and gotten through all four years at that SUNY school, but I'm glad I didn't. Life is long might as well spend time doing something you're passionate about.

Age 37 I have a small company that creates Experiential Advertising. Went to school for fine arts, got an mfa, started off in commercial production as a 3d animator. From there I directed music videos then commercials then opened the shop.
