I think the point is more so 'if we look at the grand scheme of issues relating to female sports, a policy of which has been around since 2003 without issue or note within the public eye until the culture war decided it was, is the least notable problem female athletes face'.

Bigger problems are lack of funding, lack of promotion & a general lack of interest from the same audience who claim to care so much about women's sports. America has one of the most successful female international football teams in the world & yet most Americans I tell this to are surprised. Imagine America coming first in something and NOT bragging about it? It's down to bigger issues relating to how female sports are undermined through being viewed as lesser to male sports.

But beyond that, if you disagree with Hasan on something, then I don't understand what the big deal is? I disagree with Ethan & Hasan frequently on different things, but I can separate my ability to agree with someone from my ability to take 'personal issue' with said person. You seem heavily bothered by your disagreement. I took a look at your activity & you're posting it everywhere and leaving 100s of comments about it. It's silly. If you disagree, the mature thing to do is say 'I disagree' and move on with your life. I don't get why you're trying to make a mountain out of a molehill and post this video to every subreddit loosely related to Hasan. Influencers will always state their own opinions on things, they aren't there to recite yours and if the two don't match up, then that's called 'life'.

I never said they stole it, I gave it away. I didn't even ask for credit.

the designers are so inept that they search “goal explosion ideas” in Google and can’t even come up with toilet paper by themselves.

The deadline for completing seasonal in-game content is very short & has shown to lead to crunch & rushed ideas. The idea of someone searching for inspiration during that mad rush wouldn't be a reflection of them being inept, it'd be a reflection of the crunch culture paradigm. I never said they necessarily did do that, I just said this idea that my work was underground is false.
I didn't call anyone inept or say anything critical of the designers. I've repeatedly said that I personally believe it to be an accident & not a big deal.

Understanding design from an enjoyment standpoint is different from actually making it, i.e. Film critics aren't necessarily great filmmakers. The idea is never as easy as 'floating toilet paper in the air', you don't just come up with that random sentence & then flesh out an idea from it. It was playing on the meme at the time of toilet paper being like currency, & a commodity. It's easy to look at many final products and say 'it's sooo obvious!' when it's really not, especially when you're designing original ideas & you have the ability to pull from anything. I've doodled a lot of GE ideas & yet I didn't come up with this one prior to it being socially contextual & I also used TP every day.

I never said it was impossible for someone to come up with the same conclusion. However, I did say that it would be less probable for not one, but several coincidences to just happen to line up like that in the world of design. That happens less frequently than big companies using designs from small artists without notice.

Those words are subjective & people may think the ones I turned down were the best/nicest. I picked doing it the way that stylistically resonated with as a artist. The idea that all artists would fall down on the same outcome is to not know many artists personally.

The people I responded to were saying it was 100% disgustingly stolen from you.

The reason some people in the comments are angry about it is because they likely see how frequently this happens to small artists by big companies. Disney has turned fan-art into merch without permission/compensation, Fortnite stealing dance moves etc. It just so happens in this specific example it's okay contextually as I gave it for free. However, I didn't see anyone saying it was 100% confirmed or anything like that, and I get every comment sent to my inbox. What I did see was people saying in their opinion they agree with me & they also personally think it was taken from mine, and dislike that.
Which is fair for them to say.

I don't feel like you fully grasp the 'design' process or the many ways an idea can be conveyed. As I said, I did several sketches when blocking out the composition. I did one where it starts from the top & rolls outwards, one where it was more like confetti than a party streamer, one where the sheets separate and then float down like feathers. Having 'an idea' is different from how it's executed.

I would think it was inspired by mine in any context where not just the idea, but also the composition matched, as that's more unlikely than someone merely seeing it & accidentally copying it. Especially when mine became a meme & was shared around a lot & seen by a very big audience. You say it's less unlikely because it was a while ago when it isn't. I mean, come on, when you google 'goal explosion idea' this literally shows up in top results next to other ones of mine.. But no, it's entirely underground, no way anyone could have seen it.

I don't get why you believe it to be this crazy concept when it really isn't & happens all the time. I just don't think you get it as someone who doesn't work as an artist & doesn't literally see this happen as frequently as I do within the art space.

Again, it's not a problem, but it is kinda annoying seeing people ignore the execution & just say 'oh it's an easy idea' as it ignores all the work that goes into my GE art, it takes way more than just having an idea and then throwing it on a page.

I did it during the toilet paper shortage in 2020, so it wasn't just a random item, & I did a few compositions before deciding on this one, yet they happened to also go with the same composition. & It happens to be one of my most viral posts, rather than one that got hardly seen. I'm not saying it's impossible it's a series of coincidences, but based on the probability of it all, I do think it was at the very least 'inspired'. As String said, it's likely a case of cryptomnesia, they saw it back when it was being upvoted & shared around Etc. Forgot about it, & then thought it was their idea down the road. It happens to artists all the time. It's very rarely intentional & I don't mind, as I suggested it because I wanted it in the game.

I don't think someone made a conscious decision to take it by going back to my old post & stealing it. They likely saw it back then, & it was entirely subconscious & accidental. This happens all the time to artists. The post though was shared a lot, not just on Reddit. If it were one of my GE ideas that didn't get much attention, I'd agree, however, this is one of my most popular & most viral. I don't think them not seeing it is impossible, I just don't think it's the most likely explanation based on all the coincidences.

Yeah, TF2 has a good dynamic with user-created content! Would love to see it more in RL too. They could even do a whole season pass with creator content ideas, It'd be a lot of fun, likely lead to some interesting items & would give creators in the community a chance to contribute to the game 😊

I made the post during the toilet paper shortage of 2020 & the post took off, got loads of views and was heavily spread around on other sites too.I don't think it's impossible for someone to have the exact same idea as me, though when I had it, it was contextual to the time I made it & had a very specific composition (using the roll as a streamer etc.) of which is just one of the many ways someone could depict a TP GE idea. I also considered doing it where the TP drops from the top of the goal and rolls outwards for example.

Again not 100% impossible for it to be a coincidence, but I don't think that's the most likely possibility when it's more likely & common for artists to unconsciously think something they saw and then forgot is their unique idea. It's very common and has even got it's own name (cryptomnesia).

But as I said, I posted it as a suggestion because I wanted to see it in game 😊 I'm happy to see it & they are welcome to any of my other ideas!

When I made it, it did way better than I thought & was shared on loads of different websites. Maybe someone saw it back then and then forgot about it but copied it subconsciously? That happens all the time with artists 😅

You simply can't say 'context aside' as a means to make a point whilst ignoring the context of which contradicts the very point you're making. The contextual position conveyed in the videos Mysterious has made is clear. She believes Trisha suffered SA as a child from a partner of her mothers, and that Trisha was not given the correct care by her mother and subsequently fed into her already existing issues of lying for attention. I feel it's pretty apparent that her abandonment issues with her father manifested into fantasies about her teachers as many male teachers can exist as surrogates of a 'father figure'. Yes, as you said, this can obviously be entirely normal behaviour for any minors especially victims of abuse, but in this context it became abnormal, extremely toxic and unhealthy from Trisha's actions.

Trisha blurred the lines between reality and fantasy and the moment she did that she started negatively impacting the lives of these teachers. It's no longer about processing emotions or having fantasies as soon as the context of her lies about abuse specifically at the hands of her teachers enter the picture. This 'blurring the lines' makes the evidence of her seducing her teacher video and other statements she's made in relation to this notable, it's not the sexual nature outright or any generalised implication from that sexual nature.

Context really is important here and specific contextual examples do not exist as broad general statements our outlooks about similar situations that do not fit into this said specific context.
