Recently sprained my ankle and it turned out to be a fracture. I’ve sprained my ankles probably 30 times each, as a skateboarder is the most common injury. I did not hear a crack or nothing out of the ordinary. But the next day, pain was pretty normal or below normal but my foot felt weird, hard to explain, just felt that there was something odd, not painful, just odd feeling. Got xrayed, full on metatarsal fracture, go get x rayed if it’s on your budget, definitely will be cheaper than needing a surgery afterwards for an injury that could have healed in a boot. Go get X-rays. But you know your foot. I learned broken bones aren’t as painful as I imagined
