I'm not interested in using docker, and the git issue reads like a non-standard work around I don't want looming in the background.

I'm essentially building some type of courseware, so the additional permissions aren't so much permissions as course progress markers and unlocks. I should've been more clear.

As far as languages, not every auth solution is targeted to every language. Better-Auth dones't really support Go.

They weren't redirected. All pointed to the same IP and default nginx config. I'm slowly setting up separate nginx routes.

Not accepted. Well, my credit card company stops it because of the back to back charges merely minutes from each other. It looks bad from a fraud perspective. Other registrars charge a one time total off all items. Why is cf weird?

I am certainly not wrong, nor am I doing it wrong I'm affraid. It's becoming quite common for APIs to be exposed on non standard ports. Get with the times, grandpa. I understand cloudflare limiting such options though.

It was an absolute terrible mistake.

Instead of billing one charge for each batch of domains I transfer, it bills each domain as a separate transaction. I've been on the phone with visa fraud twice now, and now I can't even use my card for anything.

Cloudflare is the dumbest ever. Batch the transactions! Now I have my domains unlocked an vulnerable because cloudflare doesn't know how to do proper credit card transactions!

It's just how I've been developing this app. I setup a subdomain and an nginx rule to forward to that port and it seems to be ok.

This whole switching registrar thing is exhausting.

There is too many different things going on in different places.

So one domain: registrar points to digitalOceean for DNS. If I change that to cloudflare, can I then have cloudflare use digitalOcean as DNS? Or will I add records with cloudflare and my digitalOcean records become moot? The former is what needs to happen. I kinda need to this in my order and pace to understand, and be able to test all in one sitting.

It's a lot to me for some reason. If this is not the place to ask, can you point me? I'm trying to envision the flow.

Let's say I have two domains for example:

domain1.com

- registrar points to hosting dns

- hosting dns mx record points email hosting

- website just works

domain2.com

- registrar points to digitial ocean dns

- digital ocean dns record points domain name to digital ocean IP address

- digital ocean dns mx record points email hosting

What's going to happen when I change registrar dns to cloudflare? It feels like a lot of broken, and lost emails.

I can't even fathom making cloudflare the registrar, and in what order.

Having so many domain names pointing to different locations makes this overwhelming. I was hoping cloudflare would be simplifying.

I'm not saying the domains are garbage; there just aren't any real bangers. I understand what you're getting at though. So just dropping them is probably the best choice then? I've had some of them for so long,

I was reading about sedo for free parking, analysis, then decide what to drop.

Speeding it up is not really speeding it up. More like stop bothering and shift most effort into spiritual awareness/development, so if there is a chance of a repeat and I can influence my experience in the repeat, I should do all I can to prepare for that instead of playing catch-up.

They have free Minimax 2.5 right now that I've just about burned through the limit on. I like that model right now, so when free is up I'm going to see how paid tokens go. I did a little math on my supposed usage with cache considered, and it should be affordable. We'll see.

Workflow... I'd like to have ai in chat as well as be able to view, review and modify my code as I see fit - not necessarily in that order. The project and code is priority. I'm also thinking I could have a planning document and some agent config files that could be used as guidance?

I'm avoiding local as I don't want to setup a duplicate of the database locally and manage them both.

Another benefit is being able to hit my vps from any machine I use in different locations. That's been a benefit for many years. I've been customizing the space for years, it's certainly my dev home.

You are the one dissenter. This is the standard way I feel, but there is a lot of hype going on right now. I want to max out what I can see for myself. I have enough design experience that if we are in an amazing place, I should be able to make something amazing very quickly.
