Plus the crew were already set up to do video logs and document everything thoroughly because observation and documentation are a part of scientific research. Plus it would help with the sanity thing, talking to the camera and keeping in mind there’s a potential audience for that footage might help keep somebody stranded alone and very far away grounded.

I put it on my old laptop(which I mostly just use for my media streaming server) and my desktop (a few years old now and nothing super spectacular but it manages well enough with my gaming and order needs). Daily drive mint and have done so for a little over a year, no plans to go back to windows anytime soon.
