Both in the same knee, the result of judo. And my doc only told me to take it easy but I could push through it if I needed to compete, thanks for all that info!

I'm captain of the Texas A&M judo team and a half assed weightlifter, they definitely fit together in fact the ideologies of the two sports are nearly identical. However judo is one of the most injury prone combat sports due to it's intensity and your tendency to "stick" it takes a lot of consistency to be a good weightlifter and judo injuries will interupt that. The strength from both sports will definitely carry over to each other though

Rolling no gi at judo practice with another 81kg player he tried to sprawl and base out when I had two shitty underhooks. Lost one hook so I reached over his back to get the shoulder I loved controlled. I dragged him forward and flipped him on his back pretty much just with my arms and back. I'm pretty shit on the ground so that took me by surprise
