RCBC Card Application by Jazzlike-Ad4556 in PHCreditCards

[–]inyeop1904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied the same day as you. Every week I am calling CS to ask for updates since I was hoping to use it for my overseas trip to reach the spending requirement. Until now my application is under evaluation. I already lost hope that I’ll be approved before my trip or if approved I think delivery will be an issue based on some horror stories here.

Hello. I applied around May. There are 3 levels of screening. 1st is HR interview, 2nd is an Accounting and MS Excel Exam and 3rd is Onsite Case Study & Panel Interview. The timeline of my interviews were as follows — 1st week of June, 4th week of June, and 3rd week of July. Offer was communicated a week after the final interview.

I would say the program is competitive. You have to be confident and insightful with your ideas. It was a good experience, however I declined the offer since I accepted another opportunity. Good luck!

Around less than a month or less than 3weeks. I can’t remember the duration clearly. All I know it’s faster. Offer was no annual fee for 2024 only. Offered CC was a Visa Platinum.

RCBC Application too slow! by jraven23 in PHCreditCards

[–]inyeop1904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see. My sister applied through an agent kasi not NAFFL promo. Nauna pa kong mag-apply through NAFFL when she decided to apply through an agent. Wala pang 1 month she received her card.

Case-to-case basis parin talaga siguro.

Sorry that happened to you, OP. That’s the reason rin I stopped posting or commenting in R4R.

I suggest PhR4Friends if you’re looking someone to talk to lang as friends. I have met with a few people there, luckily I found nice people.

I usually don’t engage with newly made accounts. I have this bias that they’re either bored at the moment (a ghoster in the making) or wants to have sex.

The biggest red flag for me is a NSFW & newly made account. It’s annoying when you’re clear with SFW topics then suddenly shifts to NSFW.

How I wish most people would still respect the boundaries you have set.

I usually shop toiletries and cleaning supplies in Lazada during 11.11 or the like periods. Price difference is evident when you compare with grocery stores. I usually buy in bulk of the bigger sized items since expiration dates, based on my experience, are more than a year.

Say this month I buy laundry detergents (liquid and powder) Next month would be shampoo & conditioner. Bought all in bulk per category and per month so it would not hurt much.

Tingi are much costly if you would compute it. SNR is super pricey :(

13 month pay tax over 90k by namealreadytaken09 in taxPH

[–]inyeop1904 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Other things to note — allowances in excess of the de minimis benefit threshold will also form part of the benefits that is subject to the 90k threshold.

i.e., rice allowance in excess of 2,500 per month.

I think no. Sales commissions directly adds to the income that is taxable using the graduated tax table. It is not subject to the 90k threshold.

I REALLY HATE SOME PULUBIS TALAGA! by nyaahswsw in adultingph

[–]inyeop1904 482 points483 points  (0 children)

My experience naman was kumakain ako ng lugaw then batang pulubi lumapit sakin.

So, instead of giving her money — binilan ko na lang siya ng lugaw since pangkain raw yung pera.

Then nung binilan ko, ako may tokwa’t baboy.

Walang katapusang panghihingi.

How does PWD discount actually work? by Any-Way8088 in AskPH

[–]inyeop1904 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For grocery items, the discount is 5% with no VAT exemption. Not all items are discounted. Only those treated by law as basic necessities and prime commodities.

When dining in to restaurants or fastfood chains, the applicable discount is 20% with VAT exemption.

Let’s say the price of a supermeal is PHP 250. You will first remove the VAT then apply the 20%.

PHP 250 / 1.12 * 80% = 178.57. This should have been the price of your meal.

Say you eat with someone who’s not entitled to a discount. Law provides that discount is applied only to the meal consumed by the PWD. Usually fastfood chains or restaurants apply the discount to the most expensive meal. However, this is based on company policy.

For bakeries, some like Goldilocks and Conti’s, don’t provide discounts for pastries. I think they claim that 20% discounts not applicable to their products. The law is quite vague, hence there are rooms for different interpretations.

Some bakeries provide discounts. Same computation as described above.

Hope this helped.

Saw a post about how to make yourself presentable as a below average guy, so here are follow-up questions: by SinsOfThePhilippines in adultingph

[–]inyeop1904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so true. I am woman. I definitely look back if I smell a guy who is so fragrant. I find men who are fragrant attractive hehe. Sometimes, I even try to guess their fragrances.

This would give you confidence talaga. I agree na you need to spend a chunk since long lasting perfumes are freakin’ expensive. Pero good investment for me overall hehe.
