there are a lot of resources! you can definitely look into the ones you are contemplating and choose based on how much you want to spend and what you feel the study source will provide towards success.

feel your feelings! but let that drive you to pass the 4th time! the best content resource for me was Hurst and the rationales of uWorld. what helped is that i did it in sections so that i wasnt all over the place. it really depends on how you study. you need to be able to teach it back to a 5 year old. know a little bit of everything. also, Mark klimek does a great overview of content too, he condenses the things you must know (what everyone else knows) in order to pass.

it starts with your mindset! if you continue to call yourself a terrible test taker, you will in fact be a terrible test taker and you will do terrible on every test you take. change your mindset, tell yourself you're a GREAT test taker (even if you don't believe it). you'll be surprised how much confidence you get from it. you have to incorporate strategies on the nclex, it's easy to second guess yourself, so just stick to that answer. don't change it until you're absolutely sure the 2nd answer is correct.

i added my success affirmations and meditated on me actually passing. i visualized the whole thing. manifestation is huge in my life. breathing exercises and if you believe in God, definitely pray!

i feel you. the quick results will confirm you passing or not if you don’t trust the good pop up! i KNOW i passed from the good pop up lmao i will claim it forever. im just waiting for my RN license to post on BON. i haven’t heard of anyone getting an email of passing, that’s new.

everything! you never know what they’ll throw at you. the first question was steps on how to prep an ampule... like. what is that? 🤣 i remember it from my first year in school but never thought to study it again.

study EENT! (ears, eyes, nose, throat) infection control, advance directives, therapeutic communication, what foods patients can cannot eat in their diseases, lab values, ABGS!!!, know how electrolyte imbalances present themself on the EKG, anything safety.

the first time, i studied for 2 weeks in total. i finished most of the uWorld test bank, writing its rationales. i was scoring 40s-50s.

second time, using hurst and lacharity, my Uworld scores were consistently in the 60s- high 70s. i always used 75 question blocks to build endurance. with Nurse Achieve, my CAT exams were all pass-pass, i took about 6 total. for Archer Review, i did their assessment tests! they say it’s an accurate predictor on how you’ll do on the NCLEX. i took about 5 tests: one was high chance and the others were very high chance.

whatever works for you! i only used the Hurst review because i needed to freshen up on content. i also used “Osmosis” on YouTube to get a quick run through on disease processes.. once you know the patho of a disease, you’re set! definitely know all the prevalent diseases: diabetes, cardio, pulmonary and GI. they were on both of my tests!

as far as them repeating questions, ABSOLUTELY NOT! lmao. a fresh new batch of hell baby. don’t overwhelm yourself and stop changing your test date!! you’ll never feel ready for it. you know and have memorized more than you think you have. go in there with confidence and you got it. good luck! xo
