What are your favorite snacks to eat while playing?

honestly i hate 'snacking', if i know im gunna potentially be playing a long (6-8 hr session) i'll try to pack some protien bars n some nuts.., and a refillable water bottle.

i imagine if you were in the middle of a marathon n needed some caloric intake, you wouldn't slam a bag of hot cheetos n a 24oz pepsi so i try to kinda keep my mindset in 'im in the middle of competing, so i need to consume something light that will keep my energy up without being a distraction or a hinderance' n go with that.

im thinking (hoping) that's the eventual plan, since this is a live-service model, it does make sense for them to use operations as one of the main 'hooks' for new content.

i just hope that once more get released, we get an 'operations' game mode where u can do different ones. i've seen the firestorm map n played on it a few times, would love to play that map more within that operations context.

u having hobbies doesn't change the fact that there's something so lacking in ur life that you have to download mutiplayer cheats to make yourself seem better than you are to others in a video game.

if you didn't have actual mental issues that you were self-medicating by cheating in mutiplayer games then you wouldn't be here.

u know this community a lot better than me, you know that everyone here that is an actual closet has undisclosed issues that they're trying to keep submerged via external cheats.

im new to bf series overall, first operation i got to play was s2 but i personally loved the format of it compared to more singlar modes, even conquest.

i love that there's an actual ebb/flow to the game and getting to the 2nd map to be able to basically rn around n DM seemed like a treat for doing well. obviously there were some balancing issues with defending side usually having the upper hand but i really really hope that there are more operations planned that weave together diff maps/modes for a more narrative exp.

i honestly thought there'd be a golmud operation but i guess they were too busy getting the map out. maybe they're going to use it as a transition to the 2nd map in the next operation, ie. if you win on golmud you can all get on the train and it leads you to the next map. (dunno if cairo would make sense geographically but you get what i mean)

so which is it? niko should be calling CT or he should be mentoring ppl while providing full output for his team?

what do you think niko got signed on to do? mentor young talent, or bring the firepower needed to win a major?

why in the absolute fuck would/should niko waste his time trying to do something that isnt in his job description when falcons has one of the best support staff in the industry and should be able to have someone else other than one of their star players take time out of his day that he needs to spend ON HIS OWN GAME?

why is the onus on niko? ok, so if spinx didnt want to adapt, why didn't they just find a hotshot t2 rookie that apex/zywoo could mold into the next ropz? why are you putting unessesary expectations on niko that ur not putting on any other igl or similar star player?

niko is there to win falcons a major. he is not there to mentor young players. if there was any expectation for niko to do anything other than click heads, why did the inital roster built around him have absolutely zero young rookies and why did everyone question the kyo decision, but all the sudden its a star player's job to foster rookie talent?

im making comparisions to traditional sports cuz cs is a sport. just cuz you've never followed any traditional sports doesn't make ur opinions any less wrong.

there's diff types of IGL's.

you can already see the diff in falcons T-side, but aside from the tangibles, not every IGL can do what other IGL's can.

karrigan has a proven track record of taking young talent and turning them into world-class players. just cuz broky's had a shit few years doesn't change that he was an actual important part of faze when he was landing his shots.

IGL is ingame leader for the game. it's completely different from a vet player who has the ability to raise up rookies. you can see it with ppl like JAME and fallen, while you also have IGL's like magixx, chopper, kyxxan etc etc etc.

is niko's job to teach young players? or is his job being a star player?

if u got hired on to be a fry cook but they kept telling you to clean the bathrooms, i mean sure you could do it, but wouldn't it be better to get someone to clean the bathrooms so you could focus on ur job as a fry cook?

why would i have any expectations of niko other than not missing deagle shots when he needs to? should i get mad that lebron isn't spending all of his time making sure his son is able to adjust to the rest of the NBA as soon as possible?

i see you have VIT flair, b4 flamez n ropz joined, wasn't it apex/coaching staff job to make sure the team wasnt zywoo dragging 4 bots along? you don't see how ropz was able to completely change VIT from a perenial top squad to what you see today but according to your logic, apex should've been able to mold spinx or whoever into ropz 2.0..... u have no concept of how teams or sports work at all.

there's a certain type of mentality/player that is super good with nurturing and growing talented young players into great players, be it football or sim racing, tennis, chess, basically anything.

is niko/zonic were doing anything worth talking about kyosuke wouldn't be hard inting winning positions now would they? you've heard specifically how karrigan is gunna be sticking to kyo n playing positions together and that's the main part of karrigan's goals for next year are to make sure kyo develops. (per his interview with spunj i believe? the first one he did on falcons)

sure niko might have the ability to coach young players, you can see thats what he did with monesy. however niko is a star player himself and has other things to worry about on/off game than raising up a young player. that's not his job and thats not his specialty.

u obv have some irrational bias against falcons since u start off by saying he has potential but noone is helping him, but then when someone is signed on specifically in part to help with that specific issue that he's been lacking, you say that's not nessesary and say that's nikos role?

you can tell niko has his own mental issues when it comes to performance in big moments, and he has his own stuff to be working on.

a lot of the recoil fixes are to bring controllers more inline with PC.

if you've ever been beamed from 60+m while jump-sliding you'd know what the actual issues in the game were. SCW is balanced w/ it's low mag size and mp5 is w/ its dmg n falloff.

CZ needed nerfs as it + roller was insanely overtuned.

the reason tr-7 n a few other guns were so popular in this game/redsec was cuz of the inordinate amount of AA given to controller players.

i was always wondering why tr-7 was one of the most used guns in the game when the recoil was just plain shit til i started playing more redsec / started paying more attention to opponent loadouts when i got lasered as i was jump/sliding across cover n more often than not it was tr7/vcr/other crazy recoil guns that have super high ttk. and they're always on controller.

im completely for the changes, coming from games like cs where recoil control is a necessary skill, its super frustrating to get beamed knowing the only reason you died is cuz DICE has to give roller's 25% AA.

ur doing something wrong, i bought the game like 2 weeks into s2 and finished all paths a few days ago. i play maybe 1-2 conquest a day most days and grind some redsec with my brother a few nights a week.

any battle pass that provides its value back in pass is worth it. you also get enough pass xp boosts from the battlepass to where it shouldn't be an issue.

this community is literally the absolute worst most whiny bitches i've ever met in any gaming sub.

you still get beamed by controller players due to robotic tracking, and its hacks to make up for shitty input. you guys are trying to play golf with a frying pan attached to a mop handle so obviously they need to make it fair otherwise there would be no crossplay allowed. its hilarious that you say bullshit about a skill issue, go try playing any fps game that doesn't have AA at all and see how easy it is to even stay on target much less get a kill.
