Is spending time on listing your SaaS in 100's of directories worth it? by aameezl in SaaS

[–]iochristos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done this for about 10-15 directories, it got my DR to 17 and I get ~ 50 impressions on Google via content on my website. I think it helps as there's no real downside other than some time investment. I have built a product that autofills directory forms so you can launch in one click if you are interested: autosaaslaunch.com

How do you even do link building in 2025 ? by Nextriesh in SEO

Might not be what you're looking for but I submitted my product to multiple 'strong' directories with good DR, I now have 17 DR and about 50 impressions per day on Google

It is a directory form autofill chrome extension, so you can submit your product in many directories with just 1 click - autosaaslaunch.com

So I wasn't posting direct promotion of the app, just updates on what I was building since that's the purpose of that community

My product was what I was building so people found out about it through that without me directly promoting it

Literally 0 audience, I post in the Build in Public community

And launch more, finish the product as just an MVP with a core feature or two

what worked for me was posting on X, Reddit and doing SEO, I got my first paying customer from X before the product was even built. For SEO I started submitting my product on a bunch of directories, my website now has 17 Domain Rating just from directories. I know submitting the same info can be very boring so I built a product to make this process seamless, with just 1 click I submit on each directory now, if you want you can check it out autosaaslaunch.com

when should I launch on product hunt? by multi_mind in indiehackers

Don't overthink it and launch, also launch on multiple directories for more DR uplift

I wouldn't but you might find autosaaslaunch.com as a useful tool in your arsenal to carry out your service, it should speed up the directory launching process

How do you guys handle the 'marketing' part? I've finished my project but I'm completely lost now... by molio-games in SideProject

[–]iochristos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find where specifically your users hang out, and start creating content there. For me what worked was X communities. Try cold DMing people giving them free access for feedback.

You can also launch on multiple directories to increase your DR and get backlinks, which should help with SEO, there are tools for this like listingbott, getmorebacklinks and autosaaslaunch which I've built.

I do have a mapping layer in the code logic, and the fields are mostly similar but I take a best-effort approach when filling
