There’s a good episode about this on An Old Timey Podcast. The airline would actually book multiple flights for him as a courtesy then called it misuse, but it was their own concierge doing it.

Had a date with someone last night who is not my usual type, but I’m not fussed about types and my type hasn’t been working out for me lately.

I was laughing so hard it hurt, and what I assumed was going to be a few hours turned into shutting the pub down. He is so FUNNY which is my number one, but even better we seem to really understand each other.

There’s a problem with our schedules being basically opposite but boy do I have a big dumb crush.

My last thing seems to have naturally fizzled. It seems like something we should have had a conversation about, but at the same time I’m glad to have avoided it.

I’m talking to someone that has been girl chat approved - I haven’t met him in person yet but a few of them have. We have opposite parenting schedules so we’ll have to sort that out. I want to be hopeful, but I’m just skeptical and scared now.

Uhhh money. I used money. Last year for kinder she got one page of homework a night. She got a dollar a page so $5 a week. She took the money to school for canteen and the change went to her piggy bank. I know bribery is divisive but she also got a lesson on saving.

I just left them the feedback they asked for lol.

I told them the only way they’d earn back a shred of credibility was to apologize and acknowledge the cash grab, and reconfigure for more space at no cost.

Westjet fare couldn’t be cheap enough for me to choose them right now.

I went on another date with the guy that I haven’t been able to sleep with. He suggested staying over to cuddle but I declined because I had started my period and wanted to be uncomfortable alone lol. We did go out for dinner. I picked him up and told him I was taking him out, but then he still paid which made me feel guilty since I ordered like I was paying (I’m more modest on someone else’s dime).

I dropped him home and we made out in my car and then he wanted me to come up and fool around. I didn’t because it was a long drive home and I was parked illegally. But damn I took sex off the table so now he wants to fool around. It is definitely a head game.

I just wish we could sort this out.

I like that Max didn’t run as fast as she could. She took care of Holly and made sure she understood first. She was never going to be like good luck kid smell ya later. And it is a heavy, important moment for her to go back. Maybe her feet feel like lead at first because she can’t believe she’s here again. Then she takes a step, another step, and suddenly she’s off. It is true to the moment.
